To whoever it was that mentioned www.keepitcoming.net, thank you. I now have a story available on that site titled "The Brother of Jared" and the first issue is always free.
Wish me luck and please take a look and let me know what you think. It's a bit different for me -- writing in a serialized format -- but it should help me "hone the craft", as it were.

I read it and am hooked. I might just have to subscribe
Congratulations! ------------- BTW, I had a little difficulty getting to the free issue. The link is spelled wrong. When you click for the free issue, it takes you to: http://www.keepitcoming.net/free/broher-jared.html
Broher is missing his "t". You may want to let them know about that.

Robyn_hood: THANK YOU!! I contacted them and they got it fixed. I wonder how many other people I sent there just gave up in frustration!
And as for the other comment -- YES, a big lesson in learning to adhere to deadlines. I have to do 9 per month, and I just barely finished the first 9 issues in one month, so I barely make the pace! Hopefully as it goes the process will become more automatice (quicker).
BTW...I think writing in this format is MUCh harder than just doing a novel, because whatever direction I take with a given issue, I have to stick with it. I can't go back after doing chapter 10 and realize that chapter 3 no longer fits. I have to make future issues fit...tough! But fun....

Hildy -- which story is yours? I'd love to take a look at it. And thanks again. I'm sure I have a lot of room for improvement, but hopefully this will give me the kick in the tail I needed to really work on the art, as it were....
