May your hopes comes true, May your fears float away on too much eggnog, May those you cherish be healthy and strong, And may those you don't cherish be healthy and strong, And may we all be blessed in the coming year (and forever after).

Happy Christmas Adam (which is today, since tomorrow is Christmas Eve), and Merry Christmas in a day or so (depending, of course, on your time zone).
And may your stories almost write themselves, your critiquing skills help your stories rewrite to even better stories, and your writing sales increase in the new year.

Jingle pails, jingle pails, jingle all the play.
No those aren't the words, lets try a different song.
Santa Clause is gunnin' you down.
Woa, totally wrong.
I'll just say, Marry Christmas, Happy Kwanza, Maccabean Channuka, Jubilant Fetivus, Effulgent Solstice, Wistful Wonderskot, Solemn Famine Day, and a Kenderific Thanks a Lot Day. Oh and for you nihilists have a Hopeless Apocalypse.

For cryin' out loud! I thought something like this would be in the GRIST FOR THE MILL section. That's where I put my Christmas gift to all you folks. Be sure to check it out. Okay?
Hey! Who hogged all the pie? Any of that peanut butter fudge left over?

Merry Christmas, as a gift I shall give you all an image.
In the dark and the mist all you can see is a brick wall. Touching it you find it is made of play-dough. You lick it to make sure (non-toxic and all that.) That didn't help since you have never tasted play-dough before, and you regretted it. You notice the mist is yellow and smells deeply of chicken-stock. Turning toward the source of the mist you fall in a vat of Chicken Noodle Soup. The steam feels good on your pores and your back muscles relax. A tearing sound ushers in a barrage of muli-colored light and an impossibly chubby face looks down on you. Terror rips through you as you realize your true purpose.

Made it through the Day, and the Night, and the Morning After, but it wasn't easy...had to move my groceryshopping to Saturday from Friday (it's not a viable option to go groceryshopping on Christmas Day)...but also having to work ten PM till six-thirty AM...then almost an hour beyond that on overtime. I squeezed it all in, but it'll be Monday or Tuesday before I get any real rest.
