I notice on the front page that there's a new Ender's Game cover, and that it's Card's favorite. While I agree it's flashy and visually interesting ... isn't it a big confusing? A boy in sci-fi armor floating in a nebula ... can't say that I understand that. Oh well. It looks nice, I suppose.

On that note, who (in the publisher organization) is in charge of acquiring or changing coverart?

It's a bit flashy, but since it's by marvel I think it may be the graphic novel whose market likes those kind of covers. I like how they have a ghost bugger queen in the background behind him.

I'm not sure too much but I think most publishers have a designated Art Director. Not sure though???

There's a ghost Bugger on one of the comic covers, but I don't see a Bugger on the newest novel cover.

My favorite EG novel cover art is the one targeted to young adults, with what could be twelve-year-old Ender touching a pane of glass reflecting a troubled expression. I'm still debating about whether or not I need another copy of the novel.

I think the original rocked. This one doesn't appeal to me at all.

When I first saw the illustration I thought it was a girl. And yeah, the nebula-floating is weird. Not a fan, though I still like it better than the cover of the one I have at home.
