It's that time of the week again, time for the kick in the pants. The idea is that having somewhere to report progress will spur you on to make some. So I'm posing the question to all of us here. Did you write this week? As we have been reminded in the past, writing for the purposes of this thread can mean just about anything you want. You did some editing? Report it here. Outlining, pre-writing or any other kind of prep work? Sure, that counts too. And, of course, writing new work always counts.

I finished the copy edits for The Nine and got the cover finalized with my artist. I had a story idea and made some notes on a couple that I'm going to be rewriting.

That's it for me. How about you? Did you write?

No writing at all this past week.

I painted my own Christmas cards.

I painted 48 of them and gave out three different versions. I tried to start much earlier than normal. I was not quite finished when I had to pass some out Saturday, I then was painting a bunch more Sunday to hand out Monday and was working on them Monday Morning. I intended not to do any painting on Tuesday but had to change the design of the remaining cards and barely got them done in time to attach to the wrapped presents, which was what i was trying to avoid.
Everybody seemed to like them.

An idea came to me on one of my stories sitting in stasis right now. It will require me to start over. The piece is short enough to where it would be well worth it. I will be able to pull some of the original story in, but this idea may answer some questions my first reader had asked when she read it.

Nah. Another washout week, consumed by Christmas prep. And my creativity is at kind of a low ebb again...if it lingers into the new year (when I have free time again), I'll try to jumpstart it with something...

Yep, I did.

On two stories, maybe three, there was a hundred word story from a picture that I will add another hundred words to.

I finished my Q1 story worked on the third Steampunk Special Ops tale--like the second one it's longer than anticipated even though only half as long as the second. All of them are going out in Indie story set but first I want to do two very short stories that get more into my MC's private life.

A Christmas post on my blog Here

A bunch of posts here on the WotF forum and Google+
