It's that time of the week again, time for the kick in the pants. The idea is that having somewhere to report progress will spur you on to make some. So I'm posing the question to all of us here. Did you write this week? As we have been reminded in the past, writing for the purposes of this thread can mean just about anything you want. You did some editing? Report it here. Outlining, pre-writing or any other kind of prep work? Sure, that counts too. And, of course, writing new work always counts.
I worked a bit on some edits for a short story that'll be going up on a book blog for a guest post, made a few notes on a couple story ideas and had one new one, but that's it. So much real life stuff getting in the way right now. I want to write, but I can't concentrate for long with all this stuff.
Oh well, enough whining out of me. That's all the writing stuff I did.

Yes. I finished the edits to MAGE STORM, then finished the last pass on THE SHAMAN'S CURSE before it goes out to beta readers next week. Now I'm in the middle of revisions on MAGIC AND POWER. (Next, I really want to start working on something new for a change.)

The best I can say is that I thought about writing. The one time period I figured for writing, was eaten up by several other activities that took longer than planned. This week looks a little better.

Mistook last week's "did you write" for this and posted there, too...must've been tired...but, anyway, last week I finished the short story / slice of plagiarism I worked on (just to exorcise the matter from my mind)...the end of it arrived simultaneously with a bad cold / flareup of stomach problems...so all I did after that was some minor revision...

15,000 words on my latest novel draft. One blog post (it's been eight months since my last one.)
