Hi everyone - I'm looking for beta readers for my novel, the Last Scion, an epic fantasy of about 180,000 words. Let me know if you're interested in swapping novels. Eye for an eye, so they say.

_____FIRST 13______

The leather-bound book in Gellan’s hands trembled as he held it, running his fingers over the worked cover. The words, burned into the leather, bounced around in his head.
“The Divided World,” he said. “Kavakh, we’ve found it.”
Kavakh approached him and stood to the side, his broad face unreadable. He looked over Gellan’s shoulder.
The tall, slender man holding the book flipped through the first few pages, running his fingers down the text as if reading it with his hands. He wanted very badly to dive into the text here, in the torchlight of the dark interior of the ruined building, but he knew better. This belonged in the Grand Library in Nov Va, and it was his responsibility to deliver this truth safely home. Once there, it could be devoured by hundreds

____SYNOPSIS_____
The Transcendence, a powerful “spell” that will take all the souls of mankind into the New World, is the ultimate goal of the world’s only religious organization: The Scions of the god Mecinter. A novice priest named Marten, adopted by the High Priest, is nearing his indoctrination into a full-fledged member of the organization. Marten, a young priest, is sent away from the organization after an accident that kills his father. Amid the discovery that the Scions and the Transcendence are not all that they seem, he must decide whether to do his priestly duty and march mankind toward the Transcendence or toward truth, all the while wondering if they are one in the same.

As long as this is like dating, and there's a potential for marriage. I already have tons of feedback on my first chapter...
