How many of you send out a marketing plan along with your queries? What do you include?

As far as I know, that's only common with non-fiction--where you are definitely expected to have a platform. Not usually with novels.

The answer to your question is: I don't.

I've never sent a marketing plan with a query. Is a publisher requesting one? If so, does it provide guidance for content?
