I'm just starting a novel I believe I've worked out the plot enough to do so. I'm interested in starting a group for people who want to force themselves into meeting quota deadlines regularly and not worry so much about quality until after critiquing.
The idea is you email sections (Chapters, Parts, etc) of your stories, no more than 20,000 words or thereabouts, as your write them by deadlines you set yourself. Those get critiqued by the other members and you work on them from there. You don't post the same section twice. (If you fix a part up after it's already been critiqued in this Group take it to another Group if you'd like that critiqued.)

Can we change the word "post" up there (which implies that you put the sections here on the Hatrack website) to "email," please?

Yeah sorry, I meant email anyway. I guess I'm just used to using the word post for some reason. I can see how "post" would imply that. Thanks for pointing that out.

I'd like to do this, if anyone else comes around that says they'd like to. I have the whole plot-line written out for a novel/novela that I really want to get writing on, so it'd be great motivation.
