quote:Welcome to this week's Novel Support Group (NSG). Anyone can join. If you're new, tell us a bit about who you are and what project you are working on. Feel free to update the NSG Work in Progress thread with your current projects. Although we can report on any number of things, here is a list of suggestions (suggestions welcomed).
What were your goals last week and did you accomplish them? Describe what you worked on. Set goals for next week. Did you learn something during this week?
Here is a list of things that you can do each week as we work on our novels (suggestions welcomed).
Writing on a novel Characterization World Building Relevant research

As for me.
Last Week's Goals:
THE BARD'S GIFT: Wait. I don't expect to hear before early Decemberish. Getting a very bad case of pins and needles now.
MAGE STORM: I don't think I'll query again until after the first of the year. Yeah, easy one.
MAGIC AND POWER: Start on the revisions. Not yet.
THE SHAMAN'S CURSE: Work through five chapters (that'll be thru Chapter 23) for structural issues. Nope. But I've at least started.
WEIRD OZ STORY: Continue reading L. Frank Baum's Oz stories for inspiration. Ongoing.
DREAMER'S ROSE: Continue reworking the original beginning. This is what has taken up most of what writing time I've had. Decent progress, all things considered.

Hi! I'm new here and I'd like to join the Novels Support Group. I have begun to draft a novel and suddenly I got stuck; I was thinking maybe joining this group would help. I'm impressed; you already worked on several drafts already.
Anyway, please tell me more about this group.

No need to "join". All are welcome here.
Basically, we post our goals and progress and encourage each other. It's been pretty quiet around here since the start of NaNoWriMo. People will start drifting back in any time now.

I mail presents off to our kids in NYC and Virginia weeks ago.
Now I just watch videos. It's a blue Christmas this year for some reason. Next year WILL be better. I'll MAKE it better.

Sorry to hear that.
