As for me.
Last Week's Goals:
THE BARD'S GIFT: Continue to wait. Waiting over.
MAGE STORM: Pitch Wars. Waiting for comments.
MAGIC AND POWER: Prepare for the revisions. Easy one.
THE SHAMAN'S CURSE: Work through five chapters (that'll be thru Chapter 40). Yes, and more.
WEIRD OZ STORY: Continue reading L. Frank Baum's Oz stories for inspiration. Ongoing. And I'm starting to get some new ideas.
DREAMER'S ROSE: Pause to get through TSC revisions. Still paused.

No writing done on this end since Nov. 25, and I really need to get some down, but, well, it's hard to write when your computer, books, short stories, essays, pretty much everything you've done with writing now sits in the hands of a computer guru.
I woke up to smoke on the 25th and then spent the next 4 hours watching my house burn. My computer was a mess, but my good friend, as I previously stated, is a computer guru, and he is working on saving my writing.
Really makes you feel...anxious?... when you're not sure if the hundreds of pages and tens of thousands of words you threw together are going to survive.
I feel like a father in the delivery room waiting to hear the sure tell sounds of his first born child. It's a culmination of helplessness, anxiety, nervousness, and plain old impatience.
