Welcome to this week's Novel Support Group (NSG). Anyone can join. If you're new, tell us a bit about who you are and what project you are working on. Feel free to update the NSG Work in Progress thread with your current projects. Although we can report on any number of things, here is a list of suggestions (suggestions welcomed).

Did you learn something during this week?

Here is a list of things that you can do each week as we work on our novels (suggestions welcomed).

As for me.

Last Week's Goals:

All of these goals were sidelined by computer problems. [Frown] [Mad] [Eek!] [Confused]

Next Week's Goals:

THE BARD'S GIFT:
Participate in the rafflecopter giveaway. Think of other ways to get the word out.

MAGE STORM:
Send out three queries.

MAGIC AND POWER:
Finish revisions. Then I'll probably look for a new reader or two.

THE SHAMAN'S CURSE:
Wait for responses from beta readers.

WEIRD OZ STORY:
Get back to reading L. Frank Baum's Oz stories for inspiration.

DREAMER'S ROSE:
Return to this. Rewrite. First draft of new material. No revisions for a while. Yay!

OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.

In the two weeks since I posted, I've written about 45,000 words in my WIP novel and am now approaching 85K words, my minimum, but I've got more plot to go. My stretch goal is to finish the draft by the end of the month (next week). It may push 100K words.

I'm still waiting for a beta reader to finish Warrior Mage.

I wasn't going to say anything because I haven't worked on any novel but second thought changed my mind. Someone editing experience was nice enough to go over the first five chapters of my Two Struggles novel. They sent back the edits and now I have to go over and change the mistakes they found. About three fourths of the way through chapter one and later tonight I will send the second six chapters for them to look over. I also will be redoing part of chapter two. I think that is the chapter that needs the most help--will parts of it anyway.

The writing in the rest of it probably could use some help since it's my writing even though the person who went over it had some nice things to say about the writing, but I decided enough playing around with it. Once I'm done with fixing the grammar and types etc, that's it. It's ready to post. Well except for the cover but I have ideas of what I want there on the cheap side of doing covers.
