Welcome to this week's Novel Support Group. Anyone can join. If you're new, tell us a bit about who you are and what project you are working on. Feel free to update the NSG Work in Progress thread with your current projects. Although we can report on any number of things, here is a list of suggestions (suggestions welcomed).

What were your goals last week and did you accomplish them?
Describe what you worked on.
Set goals for next week.
Did you learn something during this week?

Here is a list of things that you can do each week as we work on our novels (suggestions welcomed).

Writing on a novel
Characterization
World Building
Relevant research

As for me.

Last Week's Goals:

MAGE STORM: Decide whether to rewrite to a slightly older protagonist or submit to a small publisher.
Nothing this week or until after the first of the year. [Frown]

MAGIC AND POWER: Send out three more queries.
Yes. [Smile]

THE SHAMAN'S CURSE: Continue to watch how sales and borrows go on Kindle Select.
Slowly dropping. Then again, it's been a good run for almost three months with very little help from me. [Big Grin]

THE IGNORED PROPHECY (Probably to be retitled THE VOICE OF PROPHECY): Start working on the revisions from the critiques.
Not yet. [Frown]

BEYOND THE PROPHECY (Briefly PATHS OF CHAOS): Try to get down the next couple of chapters I have in my head before I have to go back to TIP.
Still working on that. Almost done. [Smile]

DREAMER'S ROSE: Pause, for now.
Easy one. [Smile]

WEIRD OZ: Let the new ideas ferment a bit.
Still fermenting. [Smile]

OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.
Yes. [Smile]

Next Week's Goals:

MAGE STORM:
Hold until after Book 2 of the DUAL MAGICS series is published.

MAGIC AND POWER:
Send out three more queries.

THE SHAMAN'S CURSE:
Continue to watch how sales and borrows go on Kindle Select.

THE IGNORED PROPHECY (Probably to be retitled THE VOICE OF PROPHECY):
Start working on the revisions from the critiques.

BEYOND THE PROPHECY (Briefly PATHS OF CHAOS):
Finish this chapter, then put it on hold for TIP revisions.

DREAMER'S ROSE:
Pause, for now.

WEIRD OZ:
Let the new ideas ferment a bit.

OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.

Yes, one sentence; and it still needs refining. Perhaps when I add the next one or two for the opening scene of my novel Daisyworld it'll make the job a bit easier.

And, no, I'm not kidding.

Phil.

Added later:

Solved the problem with the first sentence; I added a full-stop after the first five words. Now, it works. "It's alive! It's alive!"
