quote:Welcome to this week's Novel Support Group. Anyone can join. If you're new, tell us a bit about who you are and what project you are working on. Feel free to update the NSG Work in Progress thread with your current projects. Although we can report on any number of things, here is a list of suggestions (suggestions welcomed).
What were your goals last week and did you accomplish them? Describe what you worked on. Set goals for next week. Did you learn something during this week?
Here is a list of things that you can do each week as we work on our novels (suggestions welcomed).
Writing on a novel Characterization World Building Relevant research
As for me:
Last Week's Goals:
THE SHAMAN'S CURSE/THE VOICE OF PROPHECY/BEYOND THE PROPHECY: Nothing this week. Easy one.
WAR OF MAGIC: Finish transferring critique comments to the manuscript. Start revisions. Transfer complete and I'm about a quarter through the first round of revisions. Just moved some stuff around to speed up a particular episode.
BECOME: TO CATCH THE LIGHTNING: Put on hold for revisions to WAR OF MAGIC Another easy one.
I am usually late with this but decided to do it now
I worked on Learning Curve. I had decided to wait on something before I set up the presell but now I can't remember what. Yikes. So it will be up in the next couple of days, unless I can recall what it was and why I delayed.
I also worked on that long fusion of a genre of a novel that needs a title. I need to do some research on what US troops ate in the field during WWI and something else.
I started the revision of The Courier. I added over 800 words even while I deleted a few sentences. Yes, only a few. Chap one done and chap two is on page two.
I started the revision of my G+ serial Journey of Mystery. I went to town on it. Add a bunch, rearranged paragraphs and sentences some times more than once. I think I am now settled with the intro. The serial was divided into chapters based on my whims as I wrote out a new segment every week. The whole first chapter will stay the whole first chapter but I may change others.
