As for me:

Last Week's Goals:
DUAL MAGICS SERIES (THE SHAMAN'S CURSE, THE VOICE OF PROPHECY, BEYOND THE PROPHECY,and WAR OF MAGIC): Nothing this week.
Easy one. [Smile]

BECOME: BROTHERS: Nothing this week.
Another easy one. [Smile]

MAGE STORM: Read through what I've already rewritten.
Hmm. No further progress on this. [Frown]

OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.
Yes. [Smile]

Next Week's Goals:

DUAL MAGICS SERIES (THE SHAMAN'S CURSE, THE VOICE OF PROPHECY, BEYOND THE PROPHECY,and WAR OF MAGIC):
Revise all four book and the boxed set. Small changes plus trying to incorporate an .svg to hopefully disable page flip.

BECOME: BROTHERS:
Start revisions based on critique.

MAGE STORM:
Continue to through what I've already rewritten.

OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.

Struggles this week about first scene sensations. Still some essential piece missing from the puzzle. An insight into victimization and complication and narrative point of view, narrator voice in particular, needs exploration.

The narrative point of view I favor is third person close, an immediate now moment dramatic action progression, in medias res, and a multi-thread subtext, related to the above insights, plus congruent event, setting, and character introductions and development.

What then is the circumstance from which to start is the point of the trial sketches -- an event, of course, its setting, and who are focal to the event, either characters influenced by the event, victimized, or causal influences of, proactive, or both, proactivated by victimism, along with the viewpoint agonist. What, where, when, who, why, and how the substantive event sets the narrative into motion toward an outcome satisfaction destination. Quiet? Fast and loud? Certainly, not a slow start.

I am way behind with my updates here,

But they would have been very similar. Worked on The Courier and on that Dragonpunk-steampunk-UF fusion.

How I am finished with The Courier-well except for a spell check and am tying to find a beta reader. I added a new chapter and a new scene which turned out to be long enough to be a chapter of its own, even if the shortest in the book. I took a short scene from the longest chapter and added to the scene yet it is still the shortest. That's okay though. I tried to make the whole book 72,000 words but failed until I revised that new chapter and the scene. I ended up 225 words from 72,000. I added some to the description of the settings in the opening of three chapters and made one better. I should have noticed what it needed earlier so I am glad I went back. I believe I added more than a total of 300 words but need to add it all up again to make sure.

The other one is going slow I skipped a chapter or two and am working on the last chapter where my hero has to fight a giant dragon. And I decided that I need to add a chapter where he goes back home for a while, probably just before he is sent to join in WWI
