Feel free to update the NSG Work in Progress thread with your current projects. Although we can report on any number of things, here is a list of suggestions (suggestions welcomed).

Describe what you worked on.
Set goals for next week.
Did you learn something during this week?

Here is a list of things that you can do each week as we work on our novels (suggestions welcomed).

As for me:

Last Week's Goals:

DUAL MAGICS SERIES (THE SHAMAN'S CURSE, THE VOICE OF PROPHECY, BEYOND THE PROPHECY,and WAR OF MAGIC): Nothing this week.
Easy one. [Smile]

Refresh existing catalog: Figure out a better cover image for "Wyreth's Flame".
Making progress on that. [Smile]

BECOME: BROTHERS: Promote pre-order on social media.
Eh. Just a little. Need to do better. [Roll Eyes]

MAGE STORM: Probably nothing this week.
Good call. [Razz]

OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.
Yes. [Smile]

Next Week's Goals:

DUAL MAGICS SERIES (THE SHAMAN'S CURSE, THE VOICE OF PROPHECY, BEYOND THE PROPHECY,and WAR OF MAGIC):
Nothing this week.

Refresh existing catalog:
Creat a new cover for "Wyreth's Flame" and finish the refresh. Then go back and start at the beginning to add Become: Brothers to the links and request BookBub and Amazon follows in the call to action.

BECOME: BROTHERS:
Promote pre-order on social media.

MAGE STORM:
Probably nothing this week.

OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.

Long term goal realized. More often than not, one narrative project entails a tangible action and no intangible action, or an intangible action and no tangible action.

Why both, and more, a third space synthesis of both and yet more, like an overall unity that reflects real life? Narratives I appreciate entail that unity of actions, and those happen to be the more standout from the fray narratives that are also timeless and relevant, they endure and enjoy popular and critical acclaim.

Realized of late methods for creating one if the other is lacking. First, close scrutiny of drafts for smart subconscious plants, somewhat liminal, often subliminal, overlooked at first and near term later. That method has its drawbacks. Though an insightful reader might note those, might not, as well, I might or might not, that requires notice and might be beneath notice. If a writer doesn't notice, how's a reader to notice?

Then a deliberate design is another method. However, then the design might be forced, unnatural, and unnecessary to the actions.

The realized method -- well, realizes connections to extant culture phenomena, or more specifically, a phenomenon. Say proverbs, maxims, connections to extant culture icons, artifacts, traditions, and customs, even of fads and fashions and vogues. Like any composition, though, focus is crucial, so a culture correlation asks for a narrowed focus.

The trunk of put aside projects now is ripe for full realization. The current projects, the foreburner one most, are ripe for their next drafts.
