Describe what you worked on.
Set goals for next week.
Did you learn something during this week?

Here is a list of things that you can do each week as we work on our novels (suggestions welcomed).

Writing on a novel
Characterization
World Building
Relevant research

As for me:

Last Week's Goals:

DUAL MAGICS SERIES (THE SHAMAN'S CURSE, THE VOICE OF PROPHECY, BEYOND THE PROPHECY,and WAR OF MAGIC): Complete at least the next step to set up a mailing list. I'm going to try something different . . . I think.
Hmm. Well, that didn't work out. [Frown]

DUAL MAGICS SERIES: As time permits, go through the x-ray listings for the Dual Magics boxed set and THE BARD'S GIFT.
[Roll Eyes]

BECOME: TO CATCH THE LIGHTNING: Start the read-through.
Not yet. [Frown]

BECOME: TO RIDE THE STORM: Finish the current chapter and then set aside so I can start revisions on BECOME: TO CATCH THE LIGHTNING.
Also, not yet. [Frown]

Wide Distribution Project (redux): Prepare back matter to include the newsletter link above. And republish the Dual Magics series through Draft2Digital.
For now, I'm skipping the newsletter link. I'll just have to go back and add it when I get the newsletter set up. Right now, I'm 3/4 of the way through getting the Dual Magics series up on Draft2Digital as is. (Or, more precisely, with just the Pronoun links removed.) [Wink]

OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.
Yes. [Smile]

Wow skipped two weeks, thought I hit one of those.

Anyway. Still correcting Courier not spending a much time on it as I should since it is so tedious. But I am revising a few more sentences while I am at it.

Almost finished with that Steampunk-dragon punk doohickey with no title. Not sure what I will do with it though. By that I mean, parts may need rewriting. I just don't feel like it captures what I wanted to get across in the way I want it to.

Still need that beta reader for Journey. And need to do a proper blurb,

Working on a steampunk-Urban Fantasy with no title, started chapter two. Which shows us more of who the MC is.

Need to finish the revisions of the Interesting Times of Lance Starhammer. Working title there, but at least I have one for this novel. It will be made up of six rather long stories and I need to revise three of them. Then find another beta reader-egads.

Progress forward revealed another shortfall of the outline, that is, undefined outcome destination, too abstract for reader access. Defined the destination in more concrete terms, triggered a few changes to the outline and current content. Move forward nevertheless.
