Hi,
My name is McKay.

I've started this three times and been distracted each time before I could finish, so I'll keep it short.

I'm a too busy father/student/workingstiff who likes to try and write amateur science-ish fiction (no spaceships or robots...yet) in my spare 3 1/2 minutes a week. My Wife and Mommy like my stories, but I don't think their reviews are entirely objective.

I have a bunch of stories, but only two so far that have any meat to them. I've been writing since my junior high buddy Joe showed me his story "Frosty: the Snow-Thing from Hell!!"

After lurking around here for a while I may inflict a few lines of my stuff on you. I'm just happy to be hanging around people who know what they're doing. Maybe some skill will rub off on me!

Try your best to put in a few hours each day. I'm have two boys (six and four), and I don't usually get to write until my wife goes to bed, so I totally understand how hard it can be to find the time.

My writing usually gets done in three to four hours segments from 10 pm to 2 am. Then I get up at 6:45... rinse, repeat.

Good luck and welcome!
