Hello! My name's Jon and I was surfing Orson Scott Card's site and wound up here.
I've been writing comics for the past two years, of which my ongoing serialized superhero story posts weekly at http://flyingsparkscomic.com
As I've told the friendly moderator here, I've started writing a lot more prose in the last year since buying comic art is prohibitavely expensive in order to output a significant amount of stories. This looks like a pretty cool community, so I hope you all don't mind someone new joining.
My interests are typically in more hard science fiction, occasionally dabbling into epic fantasy (or a mish-mash of both, as I'm a pretty die hard Anne McCaffrey fan).
Interestingly enough, of Orson's work (since I assume most here are fans) I've only read Ender's Game, Treason and his Ultimate Iron Man comics. I do intend to getting around to more at some point.
I write most of my stuff at work, so don't tell my boss!

Took me way too long to get here but Finally Welcome.
I agree nice artwork.
This here is a great place to learn to write and I think we can use some hard SF types even though there are a few here that do or want to do epic fantasies. In either car we are friendly and don't mind helping a newbie...or more experienced fellow writer.
However as you check out the treehouse do be careful there are moving rooms, and a unicorn. Do be careful with her though she can be bit cranky.
