Hello, my name is Adam. I found this website because I'm a huge fan of OSC and his books inspired me to write a Sifi novel of my own. I'm here to get advice and as much as I can get. I have little to no actual writing experience. I have written what I call short stories, but those were for my entertainment, ideas of mine that I wanted on paper. I have this urge, this passion to write this story I have created in my mind, but I only have the slightest idea of how to go about doing so. The first question I have is, were do I go to just discuss with someone my idea.

Hmm. There isn't a specific brainstorming area on this forum. You could try F&F for Books or the Novel Support Group (in Hatrack Groups).

Thank you all. I think I've found what I'm looking for in the Writing Class area. I've already learned so much by reading other peoples questions and answers. I look forward working with the Hatrack River community.

This is the right place to learn how to get that story out of your noggin and to do it well.
Funny thing about you being a fan of OSC he's a founder of this place. :
But do be careful as you ran around the treehouse looking at the wonders, there's this unicorn on the loose and she can be mean at times.
