Good morning and hello!

I'm very happy to have been approved to join your community here. I've been "writing" for a long, long time for work and fun, but have just recently resolved to take a shot at doing it For Keepsies. I'll be starting with a modern fantasy, and look forward to sharing my First 13 Lines soon.

As Jim Butcher is known to say, I don't have a muse, I have a mortgage!

All the best and thank you,

bob corrigan

Thanks Mr. Hairychest and Ms. Meredith, it's nice to be here.

I've already had a bit of a trial-by-fire initiation to what For Keepsies means, as I've learned that it's Really Hard to write 14 lines of anything and make it interesting. My exercise over the day has been to rewrite (and rewrite again) my first shot at the character introduction and try it a la Hatrack. We'll see how that goes.

O say be welcome too.

It's a wild ride--even though fun usually--when you do it "for Keepsies" but this is a good place to start.

However be careful when you explore the treehouse, rooms move and you never know who you meet. If it's unicorn be careful she can be mean.
