As a misanthropist, I have no friends. I have, however, over the years collected a group of less annoying acquaintances around me who I tolerate and can successfully interact with to a certain degree.
Last night, one of these acquaintances died in a head-on collision.
Stewie Mac, I shall miss our conversations; both the banal and the profound.

I am late here but my condolences even if he was an acquaintance that you will miss conversing with.
