I have an unusually strong grip for a woman.

*giggle* I'm single *giggle* It's also a couple months until I'm officially a teenager! hehe (: So I don't think I'm eligible hehe

Posted by Leonide (Member # 4157) on :

Age: 18, 19 on April 22
Age when first kiss: (this is a strange question, but...) Okay, I have this weird memory of being kissed by some kid in kindergarten, but I'm not going to count that since I could've made it up! My first kiss with a guy I actually was dating was when I was 17. Yeah, THAT'S RIGHT. But I also had a kiss with that guy Andrew (if you ever read that story when I wrote it) and then I was 12...but i'm really only counting the kiss when I was 17 because that was the "real deal"

Appearance: Look in the photo album! Well, I mean, that's me at my best, my *very* best and I definitely don't always look like that...but it gives you an idea

Hair: Blonde with highlights, past shoulder length...really thick and wavey/curly. I say "wavey/curly" because it all depends on the humidity
Eyes: Greyish-Green
Smile: yes, i have one. (?)
Build: Short. 5'2 1/2" officially, and voluptuous. I say voluptuous because it's a nice way of saying "because I am short, and the way that i'm built, i will never be thin" Curvy. Not tiny. Don't expect it.
Look alikes: I've been told I look like Melissa Joan Hart numerous times...the general shape of the face and body build. But that's it, I really just look like me.

Reasons I'm cool: (see, these are things that I think make me cool, but that other people might disagree with, so...)
-I've read every single book that Agatha Christie ever wrote. AND I own them all.
-I've been to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy (for 3 weeks!), Jamaica, the Bahamas, I've been on a cruise AND i've been to Disney World 7 times and Disneyland 1.
-I once took a trip with my family out west for three weeks, traveling on trains and in rental cars, and we visited Colorado, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and Chicago. not that that's out west, but I did go there. Why am I telling you people where I've travelled?
-I used to live in Colorado
-I know virtually every musical and can probably sing you a verse from just about everyone out there.
-Ich spreche Deustch. Eine kleine..
-I am really good at accents, or as the more educated of the world like to say: dialects. I just have a really good ear for them. English, Scottish and Irish are my best. I used to walk around Disney World pretending I was British. It's a favorite past-time of mine
-I know there are more but I'm drawing a blank now...

Dating status: I don't think I've ever truly "dated" someone. I had a boyfriend for 4 weeks. My longest relationship. Oh, you mean right now? Non-existent. There is no status.
Stalker level: I'm no stalker, but I do get "determined" when I like someone. Not enough to tell them (who does that!??) But enough to try to make sure I am always where they are...if that counts as stalking, then I'd say "low stalker level"
Plans: Act. Sing. Maybe write a novel if I ever get an idea that I love. Hopefully get on TV or in the "Pictures"...but I'd be content to just be a character at the Renaissance Faire year after year. Also, get married. And honeymoon in Disney World. These are my plans.

Things you should know:
-I am a "very-open-to-discussion" atheist
-I really get into television shows. I feel like the characters are my friends, and I can rant about their poor choices and such and such for hours on end. This is something I think will probably never change.
-Sometimes I say stupid things. Sometimes I come across kinda dumb. But I assure you, I am not. If you get me started on a subject I know a lot about, I will talk your ear off. The "dumb" thing is kind of the basis of my humor -- sometimes I'm analytically humorous (that's more often when I'm with people I don't know, or on the internet, because I have time to think of pithy, clever responses...) and other times i slip on a banana peel. Does that make sense?
-I love Shakespeare. He and I have an understanding.
-I have a really hard time sympathizing openly with people, not because I don't understand where they are coming from, but because I have trouble letting their grief affect me. It's a character flaw. I'm working on it.
-As my friend TheBlueFairy puts it: "I am Taurus with a little Aries fire" And while I don't really put too much into that, if you look up Taurus you will get a very basic, un-complex description of me. Except for the money thing, I don't understand that -- I'm terrible with money!
-This is far too long. This is another thing you should know about me. I talk and babble and go on tangents. A Lot.

Perfect man: kind of a dork, confident but not smug, can sing/act/play an instrument/tap dance...all three or just one...we're talking ideal here, right? Loves to read, can deal with my obsessions (like I said, TV shows, etc.) Able to make me laugh at any given moment, doesn't *love* chick flicks but can stand or even like a few of them, taller than me. (not that that's hard) Knows what he wants to do. Honest. Are you really hearing anything new? Likes the theatre, even if he's not a participant. Zealous about life. There are so many things, I'm actually really generalizing. And babbling. BABBLE BABBLE

Guys in movies (and I KNOW they're not real, but they'd had some of the traits I would appreciate in a guy): Wolf from The 10th Kingdom. He's zealous and passionate and sure of himself but also has bouts of insecurity, quirky. Quirky is really a must. And he's funny! Other guys I've liked...um, John Corbett's Ian from My Big Fat Greek Wedding. But he wasn't very funny...I think if you combined Andrew and Spike and Xander on Buffy, you'd have a pretty great "Kira-approved" guy...dorky, quirky, but confident and well-spoken, a really funny guy...has passions, very devoted....
Get the picture?

Celia I got your back, I am married too, but Papa Moose is HYPERmarried and he posted on the bachelor side either way.

Age: 22(23 this sunday)
Age when first kissed: To be sincere I hold no recollection of such happening.

Appearance
Photo: outdated updated
Hair: Black-very very dark brown with natural redish highlights. Very straight with a small natural wave by my face.
Eyes: Hazel? They iris isn't smooth, it looks like the moon surface... or like somebody picked at them with a toothpick.
Smile: You tell me, not too many teeth showing, but they are all straight and nice.
Build: triple built.
Ancestry: Aztec-Mayan + Norther Spaniard-French
Look-alikes: Nobody, I look weird.

Reason I am cool: You tell me, my husband and mom speculate I am capable of broadcasting digi-pheromones.

Dating Status: Sorta, kinda, married. I never got to say one single vow, so for me it doesn't count.
Stalker level: How many? 13? I lost my count, they have a union and everything. They meet every wednesday and friday and vote on a majority of 80%. They have their dental plan covered. I have never been one, too busy avoiding the club.
Plans: Trying to finish college. I went into a 3 year hiatus, and I had to start all over. In between other things, try to get outta this town!!!

Things you should know:
I can tie cherry stems too, it got boring when I could do it in less than 2 seconds. Then I tried the starbust candy wrap out of boredom. I can take it off, and re-fold it onto a neat little triangle.
Squirrels are my enemies.
I am extremely playful and act very goofy.
I get depressed too easily and I can't take criticism from family or significant other.
I get hyper all the time.
I am an alcoholic if you give me the chance.

Abilities:
I caaaan... cook, I am an obsessive cleaner, I draw, I paint, I print, I design, I program, I am an amateur photographer, I used to be able to sing, but haven't on a while so I can't guarantee anything. I can play the guitar and the recorder. I can understand and sorta speak every romance language there is. Babies automatically stop crying when I hold them, I attribute that to sheer freezing freight. I can learn anything and be really good at it very quickly. I can eat anything, as long as it isn't fried okrah, and I'll eat that if necessary too. I don't complain much and I can walk for hours. Also I was a champion swimmer and still hold my lifeguard certification. I am extremely bendy too.

Things I like in men: Honesty, caring, love, tenderness and my same sense of humor. Everything else works itself out eventually.

(edit: There, added some abilities)

I assume the ability to count isn't a requirement.

That said, I seem to be out of the running, anyway--I don't do any of those 5 things well.

Posted by zgator (Member # 3833) on :

When I first saw that requirement, I thought it said lap dance, not tap dance. I'm sure Frisco can do that.

Stormy, baby, I was just trying to get the ball rolling. Oh, and set a standard. So far Saudade is the only one to take me up on it

"Dating Status: Sorta, kinda, married. I never got to say one single vow, so for me it doesn't count."

In all seriousness, Saudade, do you really feel this way? I can't help worrying about your situation every now and then.

Posted by Khavanon (Member # 929) on :

If by "can lap dance" you mean sit on someone's lap and flail a bit, then he can do that. If "can lap dance" means arouse somebody, boy I'd beg to differ. At least while he was here in Portland I wasn't all that impressed with his lap dancing skills. I was rather disappointed.

Posted by ^Saudade^ (Member # 175) on :

Yeah I do feel that way, for several reasons, but it's working itself out.

We are starting from the top again lol

Posted by zgator (Member # 3833) on :

Khavanon, maybe he knew you wouldn't tip well.

Posted by Leonide (Member # 4157) on :

The REASON that it said "three" was that I originally had "sing/play an instrument/tap dance" first, and then I went back and added "act" without remembering to change the three.

You know you're only pointing out my flaws because you're trying to convince yourself that you don't love me desperately

Posted by Khavanon (Member # 929) on :

Hey now, I have a five dollar minimum. Wait... maybe that's too low for a lap dance. That's my restaurant rule.

Well it involves me, aka, my nearly-husband, an old lady, and about other very confused 8 people in a crowded sitting room.

Doesn't look too promising, but it brewed a very puzzling dialogue.

Can I play? Even if I am old?

Age: 33
Age when first kissed: 1st grade - a 3rd grader kept chasing me around and kissing me. My mom told me to deck him when he wouldn't stop, so I did and gave him a bloody nose. Funny enough, we accidently met over coffee 20 years later - not knowing each other - and I told that story to which he replied "What school did you go to?" Yep - same guy - but in his words, MUCH more respectful of the ladies since then.

Appearance
Photo: none
Hair: blonde-brown; long, wavy.
Eyes: blue (green, grey)
Smile: dunno - never had to describe it - I have one though and people smile in return so it must not be too bad-
Build: 5'6", 140lbs
Ancestry: Heinz 57
Look-alikes: Would that be whom I wished I look like or the actual thing?

Dating Status: Happily divorced
Stalker level: Restraining order worked to keep him away when all else failed . . .
Plans: Eventually to get my Master's degree. Become Empress. Change the world. Be happy. Have fun. Work hard. Seriously - raise a happy, well-adjusted, competent and confident young man.

Things you should know:
I have a passion for social justice issues. Particularly in the arena of women, children and poverty.

I am fairly quiet and self-contained. I am told that I am an empathic and careful listener. I read just about everything, I write, I take long hikes and walks, I listen to all kinds of music and I play music (guitar, piano, recorder, percussion, vocals - but as a jill of all trades instead of mistress of any.)

I cook well, but don't particularly like to -and keep my home and yard soothing and comfortable. I enjoy intimate gatherings of friends - no loud and big parties, please.

I used to have a thing for bikers, musicians and all-around bad boys. My first stint in college was studying sound engineering. The lifestyle about killed me though so I took a hiatus and when I went back to college I majored in social work.

Things I like in men: Intellect. Passion. Gentleness. Courtesy. Thoughtfulness. A wicked sense of humor.

Putting your dirty socks in the laundry basket is good too!

Oohh, goodie! Maybe it's just me being self-centered, but I love filling out profiles just for the sake of filling out profiles. . . insane

Age: 16 (and I thought I was grown up!! *sniff*
Age when first kissed: 13, but was an accident, more or less, so it doesn't really count. In other words, still waiting
Appearance
Photo: Even if I had one I wouldn't post it up. I am the least photogenic person in the entire world.
Hair: short, straight, and black. Or dark brown, for those of you who insist that black is not a real color.
Eyes: brown
Smile: I'm told I have dimples, but that doesn't necessarily make my smile any better looking
Build: 5'2 or 5'3, 121 lbs (My mom thinks I'm overweight!)
Ancestry: 100% Chinese
Look-alikes: Nadie (No one), except for me, and sometimes when I'm in a good mood I can convince myself that I look like Zhang Ziyi.
Dating Status: Not really looking, since I think I'm too young still (after that first time catastrophe), but if you can convince me that you're the Prince Charming I'm looking for, then maybe I'll be interested. And if you want my horror story about my first boyfriend, email me. I'd be glad to tell it
Stalker level: Well, my ex-boyfriend spent all of morning assembly two days ago staring at me. I blocked him from my buddy list and he kept on inventing new screennames to email me with until I finally blocked everyone but a select few people off my buddy list so he couldn't bother me any more.
Plans: To go to a good college (Like Princeton. Hahahaha, yeah right), become a foreign service officer and maybe someday ambassador of the US to Taiwan or Spain (since my parents are from Taiwan, and I speak Spanish), get married, have kids, etc., etc., etc. not necessarily in that order
Things you should know: I don't tend to talk much with people I'm not comfortable with or don't know very well, so on first take, I could come across as snooty or incredibly shy. I'm actually just incredibly shy, but once I get to know you, I can talk up a storm, especially about philosophy, traveling, movies, classical music, and the Chinese culture.

I love cooking. If my mom let me, I'd spend all day in the kitchen poring through recipe books and making stuff. I also like playing the piano (I recently won third place at an MEA competition). I'm obsessed with classical music and Lord of the Rings (no one can insult either of those two in my presence without getting a tongue lashing from me). Mmmm . . . I love reading, but I don't have time for it anymore, and I love writing, but I've heard that I suck, so *shrug*. Anything goes, I guess. I also have difficulty hiding my dislike for some people. I can't ignore things that well, and I take things a little too seriously a lot of the time, but I'm a good listener, and I give good advice. Or so my friends tell me. I guess it couldn't be all that bad, since they keep on coming back for more.

Things I like in men (boys, in my case): Intelligence is an absolute must. Um . . . an appreciation for all things Middle Earth, for music- especially for classical music. Being kind, compassionate, a good listener, and respectful is good too. Also, I need someone who'll fight with me- someone constantly agreeing with everything I say (like my ex-boyfriend) irritates me. I need someone who'll get me off my high-horse.

I happen to know that a few of the most gorgeous creatures here at Hatrack haven't come within ten feet of this thread.

Just a reminder, that's all, and a nod to the unspoken lovely women who aren't into this particular groove.

Jon Boy, as delightful and wonderful as this place may be, there are women here who just wouldn't be comfortable with a tongue-in-cheek (or not so tongue-in-cheek ) bid for the eyes of our fellow Jatrequeros. I've met some of them in person, both married and single.

Not that there is anything wrong in participating, of course. We have some of our most engaging members right here on this thread, and more power to them!

Think of it, instead, as an appreciation of the really awesome breadth and depth of variety we have here. That is, there are silent ones, too. (You know who you are.)

Eyes: Blue or Green, depending on the color shirt I'm wearing.
Smile: Think Meg Ryan.
Build: *flexes* toned and firm.
Ancestry: Scots-Irish but look Scandinavian
Look-alikes: Milla Jovovich, apparently. Oh, and when not congested, I sound like Jodie Foster.

Reason I am cool: Thumping Stick. 'Nuff said.
Dating Status: Engaged.
Stalker level: Mine are good, I haven't seen any of them. *paranoid*
Plans: Working as a case manager and attending grad school in the fall to get my MSW and become a clinician.

Things you should know:
I could never become a drug or alcohol addict.
I am, however, an exercise addict.
I have a strong sense of morality and fairness.
Don't underestimate me. I have an iron will.
I can think like a ten year old.
I play practical jokes.

Damn good cook. Sports enthusiast(whitewater kayaking, hiking, racquetball, running, biking, sailing). Am Sailing instructor. Photographer. Novelist.

I can't believe this is the thread that's finally brought me out of my two months of lurking. No matter. I missed you guys!

Age: 16
Age when first kissed: Same as above.
Photo: Sorry, no photo. Digital camera is wrecked and I doubt I'd post one even if it wasn't.
Hair: Red. As in, "I've never seen actually red hair before"-red. Never had it dyed, streaked, etc. though it does look like I have blonde highlights in summer. Also, it tends to get rather tawny in the winter. Eyes: Blue. Exact shade varies from an almost cloud-gray to sky to night-sky, depending upon both whatever I happen to be wearing and my mood.
Smile: Slight dimples. Usually don't show my teeth unless I'm laughing which is rather often.
Build: 5'4" and 109. Let's put it this way, my friend Alex pretends to outline an hourglass when describing me.
Ancestry: Half Irish, an eigth of both Italian and German, and the remaining quarter pretty much covers all of Europe.
Look-alikes: Supposedly Julia Roberts.
Reason I am cool: Get to know me and see for yourself. Sorry, I know I can't say that (see dating status) but the opportunity was too rich to pass up.
Dating Status: Taken and loving it (and him ).
Stalker level: None. ...Well, not towards anyone at least. If you mean from someone, than it's moderate. Have had 4 stalkers, one of which kept it up for 6 months before school finally let out and he had to stop.
Plans: I'm trying to get a sponsor so I can accept the invitation to Cambridge this summer. Other than that: Finish high school, and double-major in English and some sort of humanities course in college. I have two more years of high school ahead of me so I haven't quite yet planned much further than that.
Things you should know:
I'm usually very sweet and it takes a long time to get me to lose my temper but watch out when I do. My bark is my bite.
I enjoy long walks outdoors and will do practically anything to spend a day at the beach or hiking in the mountains.
I act the same way in a library or book store as most younger children do in a candy shop.
I don't drink, smoke, do drugs, or anything even remotely similar.
I'm interested in trying or learning about pretty much anything so differences are actually encouraged.
Abilities:
Danced at the Kennedy Center a few years ago and have done some non-professional work since then.
I read rather quickly and write about as much as I read.
This may sound strange but... Just helping people sort things out.
I've been figure skating for about a year now. (While it's a blast to spin and jump, I much prefer a pair of rollerblades on a summer's day.)
Medal in track and swim team.
Things I like in men: Intelligence, a sense of humor, openess to new things, loyalty, honor, etc. Feeling comfortable or "at home" is very important and little quirks are definitely nice.

Wait, Jaime is engaged...? *blink* I KNEW I'd been out of the loop too long.

Posted by Damander (Member # 4439) on :

First of all, Jon Boy, you can't really tie on a thread like this, it's almost unethical(don't ask me why, it just seemed like the right thing to say). Second of all, hansenj is kinda taken (she has a missionary). But if you want to suck up to us, okay, I'll accept it Third of all, the reason I didn't post here is because everyone I know already knows I'm the most elligible bachelorette; plus I don't want to make every guy on hatrack pine for me (Disclaimer: that was a joke, I'm not this cocky in real life.)

Posted by hansenj (Member # 4034) on :

Excuse me Damander, you know as well as I do that we broke up before he left. I'm as available as you! But I must agree with you on the tie-vote thing. I think Jon Boy's just trying to butter us up so we'll vote for him as most eligible bachelor.

Posted by Jon Boy (Member # 4284) on :

Unethical? Well, you certainly can't expect me to choose only one of you! That would be nigh impossible. If you want my vote, you'll have to earn it.

Though I must say, I'm a little put-off by the missionary thing, even if you "broke up." Yeah, I've heard that one before. . . .

And just so you know, I would never stoop to buttering up three lovely, talented, intelligent ladies like yourselves.

Quote hansenj:we broke up before he left. I'm as available as you!

*rolls on the floor laughing until her sides hurt and she can't breathe anymore*

Um, yeah...they may have broken up technically, but they are still very much in love. She wouldn't be any less available if she were engaged. The only difference right now is that she's allowed to date other people, but I can't imagine any man measuring up to him in her eyes. They are a perfect match.

(Don't hate me Jennie, I love you!)

You want my profile? Okay, I'll give you my profile...

Age: 19
Age of first kiss:I'll let you know...
Appearance:
Hair: blonde, shoulder length
Eyes: blue
Height: 5'2" (five foot two, eyes of blue, oh what those five feet could do. Has anybody seen my girl? <--it's a really old song)
Smile: Stunningly gorgeous (okay, I really don't know how to describe my smile, but you can't blame me for playing up, can you?)
Build: Petite, yet strong (I do have muscles, contrary to what you may think just looking at me)
Reason of coolness: I drink out of straws--how much cooler can you get?
Dating status: still single
Stalker level: I was chased by ninjas once, does that count?
Plans: become a world famous photographer (of things, not people, as Jon Boy so aptly put it), Raise a family of spectacular children who will go on to win nobel prizes
Things you should know: I'm not your typical girl. I prefer to listen rather than talk in a group, but one on one--look out. I love doing anything outdoorsy, sports-like, or adventurous, while at the same time I love music--yes, even the classical stuff. I'm LDS. And the best thing is I sleep with a pink rhinocerous

Perfect man: When I find him, I'll let you know.

Posted by hansenj (Member # 4034) on :

Hmm...calling us cute on T_Smith's thread, asking us to post our profiles...I still think you're trying to butter us up, Jon Boy.

Oh well, here it goes:

Age: 20 a week from tomorrow
Appearance:
Hair: Light Brown, Dirty Blond, I don't know! I've even been called a red-head before...
Eyes: BLUE...no specks of other colors, just blue--deep blue.
Smile: Always!
Build: I'd say pretty average.
Reason why I'm cool: I can quote entire Disney movies, and I have useless talents, like tying my hair in a knot with one hand and making roses out of play-dough.
Dating Status: single...for at least another year and four months
Stalker level: *giggle*
Plans: Direct choirs (Conducting is my passion), Be a mom and have fun while I'm at it, Have an AMAZING DVD collection, own a black baby grand piano, Never grow up
Things you should know:
I laugh at everything, and when I laugh at you it's not in a mocking way.
I love music of almost any kind, and I get very excited when I talk about it.
I love chocolate and roses...*hint*
I don't like oriental food, sorry.
I'm LDS.
I love reading, and when I get into a book I don't stop until I'm done with it (but that's not unusual for this forum, is it?).

Perfect Man:Do they really exist?

Really, Jon Boy, you shouldn't have to deal with indecision at all. Now that may seem like a contradiction with when I said it was unethical for there to be a tie, but refer back to the second sentence of the quote.

Oooooh. Must post, now that I'm finally back from LA.

Age: 18. Okay, 18 in a week and five days.
Age when first kissed: 14.

Appearance
Photo: http://image.projectjj.dk/gfx/ph.jpg
Hair: Past my shoulders, kind of wavey, dark blonde and dyed red in the front.
Eyes: Blue-grey.
Smile: Dimpled. And usually a grin.
Build: Slim-ish. 5'11". 135 lbs.
Ancestry: Euro-mutt and a little Cherokee.
Look-alikes: I've been told I look a lot like Melissa Joan Hart.

Reason why I'm cool: Dude, I'm pH. Need I say more?
Dating Status: Single like woah. Groupies welcome.

Stalker level: I had a stalker over the summer...it was, um, interesting. He wrote me bad stalker poetry. As for me stalking...I crave attention. The worst I'd do is call multiple times.
Plans: Off to some university or other in August to study music industry. Trying to get a job touring this summer, possibly in Europe, doing merch. After college...who knows?

Things you should know:
I'm a merch girl for now. I'm insanely friendly and sometimes way too generous and trusting. I'm easily hurt, but a lot of times it doesn't show. I love people. I don't smoke or do drugs. I try to exercise as much as possible.

As for what a merch girl is...
I work for bands. It's my job to organize the merchandise (tshirts, CDs, keychains, hats, whatever) and set up the displays and whatnot. Most bands have me do inventories to make sure nothing is lost/stolen. I'm looking to end up on a tour for the summer with a pretty good commission, plus per diem.

Anyways, one of the bands actually hired me for pay to replace their old merch girl who worked for free. Apparently, most merch girls can't stay professional about their jobs and end up fooling around with either the band they're working for or using their job as a way to fool around with other bands. Not to mention getting bitter and unfriendly.

I _am_ allowed to have groupies, though. Get people on the guest list, give out free things, and bring people to afterparties. But the bands are super-protective of me.

But anyways. Basically, I get paid to hang out with bands, sit at a booth, and be personable. Oh, and dress nicely. Can't forget the fashion part.

hmmm...i'm going to add to this on the basis of the title alone and see how entertaining it is to the people who know what it's all about.

so i don't think i'm a bachelorette so much as a female bachelor. i just moved into a new apartment, and my friends think it would be cool if i put a styrofoam relief don quixote above my fireplace. i disagreed, claiming i'd like to maintain some semblance of class and feminity. then they pointed out the five framed star wars puzzles lining the mantle. point taken, but i'm still not putting up don.

i like to think that my system runs on a new kind of hormone: testostrogen. i don't want to have anything to do with conversations about shaving, waxing, or facials, but i don't sit around in a tattered armchair, watching tv with a bowl of chips at my side, a beer in one hand and my other hand down my pants. oh wait...

anyway, i constantly roll my eyes at both sexes while i sit in my apartment alone with my three cats. and then my married friends drop by and we go out to dinner so i can roll my eyes at them in public. and then they point out that all the flaws i see in other people are also present in me. imagine that.

describe myself in three words or less. bring it on.

[edit: i did not know that testostrogen was a real thing. [Eek!] ]

Thanks, Morbo, but it's ok. I always log on forums as "Eduardo_Sauron" (as "sauron" is always already taken, even before the movies). If I changed my screen name here, I could forgot the password, or the screen name, etc.

So...let's keep things the way they are. :-)

Well, back to Barad-Dûr (or Rio de Janeiro, hehehe).

Photo: I like this one best.
Hair: dark brown - reddish in the sun, and LOTS of it.
Eyes: dark brown
Smile: kind of goofy and dimply
Build: 5'9", 150ish

Things you should know:
I insists that everyone has at least one green vegetable with each meal.
I randomly insert foreign phrases into every day conversations.
I fall asleep during most movies I try to watch.
I tend to watch way too many chick flicks for my own good.

Yet, earlier in the thread, in Suneun's post on February 27, 2003 12:41 PM, Suneun posted a picture of Beca and herself.

That picture exists because I was about to graduate from college and move 3,000 miles away from my friends - hence I was willing to be in pictures, because I wouldn't get to see these people for a long time.

Then, of course, I decided to return.

I'm still mortally shy of the camera. That doesn't mean I can't overcome my fears when necessary.

Age: 19

Age when first kiss: 14

Appearances: Me with some friends of mine.
More here.

Hair: shoulder-length blondish-brown
Eyes: green
Smile: usually nonexistent, I have big lips, I look goofy when I smile
Build: short, could stand to lose a few pounds, but still skinny

Look alikes: Kelly Clarkson, I've been told

Reason I'm cool: I'm just like the Crocodile Hunter, only minus the mud and tight shorts.

Dating status: Absolutely no time to even consider attempting a relationship right now. I'm a full-time student who works about 65 hours a week.
Stalker level: What exactly does this mean?
Plans: Studio art major, so I plan to marry well. [Wink] (failing that, I might do something in the field of herpetology or teach art.)

Things you should know:

If you don't like animals, you probably won't get along with me. You'll be sharing me with a dog, 2 boa constrictors, 2 rats, and a flying squirrel. I don't drink. I don't smoke, except for the occasional fine cigar. I don't curse. I will yell at you for poor driving habits. I cry really easily, but act like I'm tough. I will not discuss politics with you. I can be really emotional. I'm very physical.

Dating status: As single or as taken as I want to be
Stalker level: I can't be found via google. Don't even try. [Smile]
Plans: Learn as much as I can from as many people as I can and die with a dolphin to call my own.

Things you should know: I have layers like Shrek and onions. I can make you laugh like Shrek and make you cry like onions. But that's just my first layer.

Perfect man: I've no idea. I like many, many different types of people! And I'd marry them all in a heartbeat if I could. I'm a lover. [Big Grin]

Age: 19

Age when first kiss: 17

Hair: Long, red, curly.

Eyes: Brown.

Smile: Uhh... I'm not quite sure how to fill this one out. I do smile quite frequently. [Razz]

Build: 5'4" and could stand to lose a few pounds, but in no way fat or anything. Just... in college. [Razz]

Look alikes: Hmm. I can't think of anyone.

Reason I'm cool: Because I'm Jewish, a redhead, a singer (I'm in music school), I'm from Israel, I like to meet people, and... um... I'm single. [Big Grin] And anything else you can think of.

Dating status: Rather single, at the moment.

Stalker level: o_O What kind of question is this?

Plans: Become a major singer for the Disney corporation, singing in their films (or a Broadway star, but that's a bit less likely), marrying (eventually), having children (even more eventually), and leading a good life.

Things you should know: Hmm... just ask anything that you are curious about... I will answer. [Smile]

Perfect man: I have no perfect man. I'm a hopeless romantic. Anyone that I fall for.

(edit: Forgot to include a picture !)

Raia has decided to omit her deep and abiding love of classic films. Shameful.

I had no idea that being Jewish was a reason people were cool. If I'd known that I think high school would have been easier.

Age: 22

Age when first kiss: 16

Appearances: "harried student" most of the time, slighty more civilised the rest of the time

Hair: short, wavy, dark brown
Eyes: also brown
Smile: varies between impish and cynical, depending on circumstances
Build: mesomorphic 5'8" or so
Look alikes: None that I know of

Reason I'm cool: When driving, I like to belt out medieval English or Latin tunes. (That's cool, right?)

Dating status: Don't really want to discuss this right now
Stalker level: I don't think I have a stalker. And I don't have time to stalk.
Plans: MA and then PhD in medieval Latin manuscripts, and a life of musty professorship.

Things you should know: I really do do the medieval tunes thing. I'm not joking. I love to swim, and I love to be outdoors, especially if there are rocks and tree roots to climb over. I love books and accumulate them as if trying to rival the library at Alexandria.

Perfect man: Impeccable grooming and hygeine. Mustn't mind playing second fiddle to manuscript study occasionally. Must be able to accomodate my sordid soap-opera romance with my roommate, at least until the divorce.* Cooking skills a plus, dish-washing skills a must.

* This is a joke.

I seem to remember there being someone who was 15 and someone who was 17.

Let me give this a shot, even though I'm not even legal(hey, you never know what the future may bring)...

Age: 17
Age when first kiss: 15

Appearances: I don't particularly care how I look. I've taken to doing my hair up a bit, and wearing a little itsy bitsy teeny weenie bit of makeup. For how I look while done up... go here

Hair: shoulder-length, light blinde, wavy/curly
Eyes: vary between blue and green, depending on my mood. My friends joke that I have mood rings for eyes.
Smile: My friends tell me I have a really nice, sweet smile, but I've yet to hear it from a guy.
Build: 5'3", and I'm not even going to put my weight here, but I am trying to lose weight.

Look alikes: Kind of like my sister.

Reason I'm cool: umm... I didn't know I was cool. I'm kind of a follow the rules kind of girl, but when it comes down to it, I know how to break down and have a lot of (clean) fun.
Dating status: single and looking
Stalker level: A weird old guy followed me around the mall once. That's about it. I haven't checked to see if you can find me on google or not.
Plans: Teach until the day I die. I'd like to get more involved with my church, to the extent of possibly working with student ministry. I'd also like to be a professor of music at a University somewhere.

Things you should know: I'm very serious about my religion. If you're not Christian, forget it. Not anything against you personally, but there's stuff in the bible about relationships between believers and nonbelievers, and I follow that kind of thing. If you are a Christian, I'm open. I won't drink or smoke EVER, with the only exception being a toast on my wedding day and anniversaries. The smell of alcohol makes me sick to my stomach. Other than that... Music is my life. None of these "band camp" jokes, fellas. [No No]

Perfect man: Oh geez. I dunno. I really value honesty- the complete, open trust that comes with serious relationships. Plus, you can't get caught if you never lie. Be yourself- don't hold anything back.

Reason I'm cool: Someone poured ice cubes down my back.

Dating status: Carbon-14 results will be back next week.
Stalker level: I use a good left hook to level stalkers.
Plans: World domination. What else?

Things you should know: This.

Perfect man:

There's a few groups and solo singers who search out and record them. My personal favourites are the Mediaeval Baebes and Heather Dale. Richard Souther is a guy who takes medieval hymns and embellishes them with, say, electric guitars and stuff. I still have to find a copy of his Hildegard of Bingen CD. We really still know a lot of them - Good King Wenceslas is a very old tune that was originally a hymn to spring, for example. There's a huge number of Christian songs that have lasted, and a good number that weren't specifically Christian, as well. There's a ton of lyrics to songs (the drinking songs can be a lot of fun), and I know that because I've seen them. I'm not musically literate, though, so I can't explain how we know the tunes. But when I find them recorded, I go and find a copy if I can.

And thanks for the tip about the book, I'll check it out if UW's got it.

My turn!

Age: 19

Age when first kiss: 17

Appearances: Me at prom, Me again!

Hair: medium length wavy brown hair
Eyes: dark brown
Smile: I smile a lot, if that means anything.
Build: I'm not telling.

Look alikes: I did that test once, and they only came back with men, so I don't really know

Reason I'm cool: Because can quote Star Wars and many 90's movies to a T.
Dating status: Single at the moment, but always looking for that perfect guy to make me laugh.
Stalker level: Ninja
Plans: To finish out college and see where the future takes me.

Things you should know:

I'm a little self-conscious. I love dogs (I worked at an animal shelter when I lived at home). Evie is actually a nickname for my last name. I'm in love with Val Kilmer (Tombstone is one of those movies that I can quote nonstop). I'm an insomniac. I love the Red Sox. I want to be a pirate when I grow up... well, if I ever grow up.

Perfect man: Someone who can make me laugh and is willing to be geeky with me. I want a guy who will not take me for granted, but who will instead talk with me and listen to what I have to say and respect me. I want a guy who is willing to stay up with me at all hours of the night and talk about nothing at all. That's not too much to ask, right?

Age when first kiss: 18
Hair: Medium reddish brown, very thick, but relatively straight, right now about chin length, and layered, no bangs

Eyes: Almost black, brown

Smile: often

Build: 5'0 and curvy.

Look alikes: judge for yourself

Reason I'm cool: I'm on hatrack

Dating status: nadda

Stalker level: I don't think I'm a stalker, but I do know tons of silly little facts about my friends. My former stalker is now in a serious relationship, so that's out of the way [Wink]

Plans: To get out of my pajama's, oh you want more than daily plans, ok I want to become an elementary school teacher, not in Indiana, marry a guy who makes at least a dollar more than I do, and have a few kids

Things you should know: I come with pets, I also am way into knitting, so you'll probably get a hat.

Perfect man: Tall dark and handsome, or blond and surfery, or well whatever. He has to like decent music (not just rap, though that's ok too), and enjoy my animals. I currently have two dogs and a cat, and have all intentions of getting a horse at some point in my life.

And last but not least! Me

Appearance
Photo: It was a really nice restroom!
Hair: Brown and bleh (my friend's going to dye it intense pink later though [Smile] )
Eyes: Brown and bleh
Smile: A toothy one. I smile every minute of the day; I even smile when I'm sleeping. The only time I remember not smiling was when I ate too much Mexican food and was in the restroom. For an hour or so.
Build: I used to be athletic (swim and waterpolo x 10000) but I got in a fistfight with my swim coach (jk about the fists [Razz] ) and quit the team. So all my muscles turned into flab. I'm this... walking blob of flabby fat. Gah.

Look alikes: If there's any, I'd feel bad for them.

Reason I'm cool: I'm a ninja. and I have chill friends.

Dating status: I have a harlem of men; but there's no one special right now [Big Grin]
Stalker level: I myspace-stalk. Does that count?
Plans: To survive highschool. Literally. I have a year left, amagad!

Things you should know:

I'm the typical nerdy Asian (games, DDR, anime, books), except that I suck in math.

I do the most random things. (I was in Chinatown and there was this piercing parlor that was having a discount sale [Roll Eyes] and as a bargain hunter, I had to go for it XD)

Perfect man: Somebody taller than me [Frown] I'm tired of being the gorilla girl [Grumble] And somebody who'll keep up with me. Haha, that's about all [Wink]

Dropped out of college? Do you have traditional Asian parents? 'Cause if you do, why aren't you beaten to death yet?

I'm yonsei (generation 4), so they're not exactly traditional, although they were still upset. They got over it when, within two years of leaving, I was making more money than they were.

Those are adorable pics!

Okay, my turn. I'm a lurker, but I wanted to participate anyway.

Age: 20
Age when first kissed: I was fifteen. I guess that's a little on the late side, but I was a prude--just ask my first two boyfriends.

Appearance
Photo: Here and here. I took the first picture in Durham, England and the second last night at my country western friend's birthday party.
Hair: Black with layers.
Eyes: Unremarkable but I like them anyway.
Smile: I have an easygoing smile even though I'm not much of an easygoing person.
Build: 5'3" and I'm exceptionally tiny, but it suits me.
Ancestry: Okinawan and Japanese.
Look-alikes: This guy once told me that I looked like Catherine Zeta-Jones, but he was just trying to hit on me and I didn't appreciate it.

Reason I am cool: How about an answer more pertinent to the thread? You'll think I'm cool because I know I am.

Dating Status: I'm not looking, but I'm open-minded.
Stalker Level: What exactly am I supposed to write here? The degree to which I've been stalked? The degree to which I stalk? I've had issues with stalkers in the past, so let's not get into that. And I only stalk others as much as your average college girl does armed with facebook, AIM, myspace, and blogs.
Plans: Finish up the philosophy and economics majors and the religious studies and creative writing minors. Go to a top law school (like UChicago). I don't necessarily want to become a lawyer, but I do enjoy studying law. I'll figure it out.

Things you should know:
-There are two questions that I ask before I get involved with someone. 1) Is he extremely religious? 2) Is he extremely conservative? If the answer to either is yes, then it's a no go. The key word is "extremely."
-I'm a feminist but not militantly.
-There are a lot of things I can take, but lying is always the last straw. This has become more true in the last couple of years than it used to be.
-My favorite sentence pattern: "Independent clause; transitional adverb, independent clause."

Perfect Man:
Edit: I only just realized that this category changed somewhere between the first page and the last, so I had to reword my reply.
-Someone with whom I can talk for hours. I don't mean when I first meet him--that's easy. There's always a lot to say at the beginning of a relationship. I'm attracted to people that I continue to have great conversations with after weeks or months or years.
-Someone who properly use big words in everyday speech. Sexy.
-Someone with self confidence to an almost ridiculous degrees is great, as long as it's deserved and not an act.
-Relating to the above, someone who's at least as smart as I am.

In my experiance its all an act to a degree. Even the James Bonds of the world don't know what to do some times, but the trick they have is the appearance of calmness. Confidence is like bravery. Its not the absence of fear/butterflies, its the ability to cope with them. [Big Grin]

I stayed in Durham for five weeks over the summer and our dorms (St. Cuthbert's) were a two minute walk from the cathedral. Our classes were in the building adjacent to it. Durham Cathedral is quite possibly the most gorgeous building I've seen in my life, but I think I've decided that I can't ever go back because it won't be the same. I want to keep the memories I have of this summer uncorrupted. Maybe that's silly.

It could be worse - your parents could be SUPER traditional asian, in which case they'd expect you to not bother with college, instead focusing on marrying rich, because as a girl you clearly have no independent future.

I think any kiss where you wanted it and/or initiated it counts. So where some dude kissing you on a dare probably wouldn't count, you kissing a guy you wanted to kiss on a dare probably would...?

That's what I think, at least.

Well, for the record, since there's really no point in me doing this besides the fact that I'm bored:

Age: I think grade would be a better gauge for me, but whatever. 16

first kiss: Technically (as in after I was five) not as of yet, thankfully. I go to public high school, how many good guys do you really think are there?

Appearances: I can't find any pictures of me here (at least that I like) but I bet you could ask mack and she could find one. [Big Grin]

Hair: LONG straight blonde hair (which everyone I know has to play with.
Eyes: sparkly blue (especially if I'm up to something)
Smile: How do you describe a smile? Uh...appears very readily.
Build: tall (comparatively, I suppose. I'm 5'9), built, not a sissy girl

Look alikes: Myself. [Big Grin] I don't recall that I've ever been compared to someone.

Reason I'm cool: I dunno, ask Farmgirl or ElJay.

Dating status: Very Single

Stalker level: I seem to repel stalkers, thankfully. I think I kinda scare them. I tend to intimidate the people (mainly the guys) at my high school, except one guy who's a senior also this year.

Plans: Major in veterinary medicine, open a practice after interning, etc.

Things you should know:
-I adore animals, all of them.
-I won't usually tell you anything unless you ask
-My mom is a Hatracker (Farmgirl, as aforementioned).
-I play a ton of different sports. Not quite everyone imaginable, but most of the ones that can be played in Kansas.
-I think "Bones" and "House" are the two greatest shows...ever.
-I tend to be sweet and sour; I usually can be quite nice, but sometimes I get sarcastic. Sarcasm is a good part of my wit, or lack thereof.
-Music is a major part of my life, though not my major. As are animals.
-I'm a country girl at heart, though I can be a girly girl with the best of them.

Perfect man: Christian, sense of humor, tall (mainly because I sort of am), witty, intelligent (although with Hatrack, that wouldn't be an issue), I prefer sweethearts though I'm not sure why, and no sissy for me, although I don't like them too rough either.

Wow, that was highly amusing. I'll try and hunt down a pic, but I don't know how easy one will be to find.

Age: Approaching twenty.
First kiss: None.
Appearances: Me, Laughing

Hair: Longish, brown and straight (in the photo it's wet and longer. The photo was taken Dec. 2004. My teeth are straighter and less gappy now.)
Eyes: Hazel, leaning towards brown.
Smile: Braces [Wink] .
Build: What in fantasy books is called "slender".
Ancestry: English Mutt. I am English-Canadian.

Look alikes: Anne Hathaway, or so I'm told by my dental hygenist. There is a slight resemblance.

Reason I'm cool: I taught myself to recognise various Sumerian cuneiform symbols because I learnt about them from a Stargate episode. Oh yes, I'm cool.

Dating status: Single and not actively looking.

Plans: None. See places. Write. Find a job I feel useful in. Live. Do something wonderful and worthwhile. Alliterate.

Things you should know:

I'm an introvert. I like being alone rather a lot. However, I like also to be around people because I find people of all types fascinating. I'm a terminal eavesdropper/observer/analyzer.

I am also very quiet, which should not be confused with shyness or a lack of interest in your pet cat. If I'm not speaking, looking thoughtful or camouflaged, it doesn't mean I'm not listening. In fact, it probably means the reverse. See above.

I am somewhat shy in some situations. I like science fiction, fantasy, adventure. I like to learn, to know, to understand, to figure out. I like mystery, the unknown, the magical, the distant, the alien. I like physics. I do not like being at a disadvantage. I like hot cups of tea. I like to walk in cities, in forests, by the sea, on mountains.

I try to be as friendly as possible, but I make real friends very slowly. If you've found my sense of humour (IRL), you've got to know me.

EDIT: "The Perfect Man" sounds awful, but anyway:

Someone who's somewhat more adventurous than I am who can make me go travelling around the world. And such. [Smile]

The. End.

Edit: The 'sigh' thing is not a pervy sigh about the girls in this thread, though they are lovely, but rather my way of saying that it sucks being the last dinosaur in a world of mammals.

I really like your formal picture IvyGirl - the one with your head on your arms.

(No I'm not stalking, Farmgirl posted them somewhere. [Smile] )

Oh, okay. I figured it was something like that. I was just curious if it had to do with Magic: The Gathering, which last year had an Asian setting and contained a race of fox creatures called kitsune.

I am reading fairy tales. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I adore reading and writing fairy tales.

1. Favorite Stargate character?

2. Favorite Stargate episode?

1. It depends on whether we're talking Sg-1 or Atlantis, and even then I would find it hard to choose. I think one of Stargate's strengths is that the characters are so likeable and interesting, in both serieses (what is the plural?!).

I admit (heh) that I do have soft spot for Daniel Jackson, but I'm not sure that counts as "favourite".

2. Again, I watch both serieses, and I am working my way through Sg-1 so I can only speak from experience up to half way through season three. Again, it's difficult to choose. Atlantis, "Letters from Pegasus" springs to mind, but that is for nostalgia more than stand-alone plot. I liked "The Storm"...

Sg-1, I liked the one with the slowing of time, somewhere in the middle of season two (which is where it gets really awesome, in my opinion). Again, that was for pure interest value and complicated situations...

I couldn't choose an overwhelming winner. [Smile]

Nell Gwyn - Thank you too. That's one of my three babies...well, okay, I have a lot of babies, but one of my three horse babies.

ElJay - Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you !!

I think imogen is referring to This Pic or some variation of it that I took.

Now that I'm back from California, I need to go back and read this thread and see exactly what it is about. You have a lot of personal info in here Ivy. Need to be careful.

I'm taking the plunge! I didn't think us young'uns we supposed to participate- oh well, it's all in fun.

Age: 16
First kiss: Not counting doggie kisses, never.

Appearances: This, taken in October of '05, makes me look all of 13.. And that's one of my two loves, Schneider/Squeakers/Monty/Pete, take your pick, he responds to all of them.
Hair: Right now it's real short in the back and long enough in the front to keep tucked behind my ears. It's reddish brown with light brown highlights- mostly natural, but the red comes from temporary stuff I put on last year.. Yes, I do wash my hair. [Big Grin]
Eyes: I'm told they're 'cow-poop' brown, but I happen to think they're hazel.
Smile: It's usually a tad embarrassed, but always present.

Build: Rather shorter than I'd like, 5'4" ish, and I'm working at getting rid of the flab.

Look alikes: No one that I can think of.

Reason I'm cool: XD I'm so not. I collect Starburst wrappers and apple stickers in my spare time.

Dating status: Single

Stalker level: I've never been a stalker, but I was stalked by this creepy old guy at Germanfest last summer. I gave him ice cream and he went away. [Big Grin]

Plans: Enjoy my last two years of high school, go backpacking around Europe with my dad or friend, and it's fuzzy after this point, but right now I'm contemplating medical school- being an ER doctor strikes me as being a worthwhile profession.

Things you should know: At this point, I'm just looking for someone to talk with. I hardly ever not in a good mood. I often get incredibly embarrassed (My face goes pale to red in less than two seconds!) and therefore often come across as dumber than I think I am. Or maybe I'm just kidding myself. [Big Grin] I'm also kind of obsessive about my dogs.

Perfect man: Witty, laughs easily, smarter than I am, likes long conversations not for the content but for the sake of conversing, enjoys languages and good books. But, it doesn't really matter. Just not a stalker, I suppose. [Big Grin]

**I didn't realize I'd used so many smilies..**

Giving in to temptation… (Plus I'm procrastinating. [Wink] )

Age: 24
Age when first kissed: 18 - and it was on stage in front of lots of people, and had to be repeated fairly often over the course of two weeks, audience included. Bit of an awkward way to start the semester, really.

Photo: Here and here from two years ago, and here more recently. (How do I put myself in the Jatraqueros meta-album?)
Hair: thick, dark brown, mid-back, straight but a little on the wavy/frizzy side (which I plan to get fixed sometime soon)
Eyes: brown, usually have contacts in them (clear ones)
Smile: Imperfect but still gets compliments
Build: 5’5”, thin but in need of exercise
Ancestry: Half Filipino, half Scots-Irish
Look-alikes: I’ve been called an elf, and it’s been noted that an elf in The Santa Clause does bear a bit of a resemblance. I’ve also been strangely (and erroneously) compared to Liv Tyler. But otherwise, I look like a taller, paler version of my mom.

Reason I am cool: I’m always glad to laugh at the world and at myself (in a thoroughly non-malicious way), but I’m also glad to help out a friend in need.

Dating Status: Single
Stalker Level: I use stalking as a threat if people are slow with returning things/money they’ve borrowed, but I don’t actually follow through, I just nag. To my knowledge, I’ve never been stalked, but I can be pretty oblivious.
Plans: Finish my MFA in dramaturgy, get out of debt, launch myself into the professional theatre world, travel the globe, move to London and become a dual British-American citizen (although I could also be talked into moving to Paris.). And eventually own and ride horses competitively and have a menagerie of pets. Oh, and have lots of fun and meet wonderful and interesting people while doing all of the above.

Things you should know:
- I’m pretty shy and reserved in person, and it takes a long time for me to really get comfortable with new people. (Rather a lot like how Teshi described herself, actually. We could almost be personality twins. [Smile] ) I also like to tease close friends, so if I get snarky with you (IRL), it means I like you and feel secure around you, so feel free to snark back. [Smile]
- I’m cautious with my emotions, but adventurous with things like food, directions, shopping, and trying new things. Spontaneity is only sometimes involved - I'm a planner, more for the fun of anticipation than for organization.
- I always try to be considerate, honest, and open-minded. Plus I’m easy-going and a good listener.
- I can be terrible at making decisions, especially at restaurants.
- I have a wide variety of interests and a tendency to flit from one curiosity to another like a butterfly. Generally speaking, my main interests are theatre (all aspects and types, esp. musicals and twisted modern drama), history, and traveling (and by extension, different cultures and languages and the history of both).
- I’m on the analytical side, and I like examining why and how things work and how they’re all inter-related.
- I have very little patience with willful ignorance and people not using their common sense.
- I’m a dreamer and a romantic idealist at heart, but I do my best to look at the world realistically (with varying degrees of success).
- I tend to be very long-winded in writing, but much less so in spoken conversation.

Perfect Man:
- Someone with whom I feel no need to be reserved, who I can talk and laugh and hang out with for hours, but also be silent with without awkwardness.
- Someone who will be adventurous with me.
- Someone who is at least as smart as me, but not necessarily in the same areas. Well-read is definitely a plus, though.
- Someone I can learn from, and vice versa.
- Someone open-minded and willing to compromise from time to time - I’m happy to do the same, but not if I’m the only one doing it. Stubborn closed-mindedness aggravates me.
- Someone madly in love with me, and vice versa.
- In a really ideal world, someone rich, hot, and British (for marriage-to-get-citizenship purposes - English, Scottish, Welsh, and N. Irish are all welcome possibilities), or with a sexy accent from elsewhere if not Britain. [Wink] [Razz]

*bounces* My boyfriend is a rocket scientist! He's sweet and hot and smart and interesting...

He's been friends with me for months, and I didn't realize he liked me until I realized that not only did he help me move into my new place, but he also spent three hours in Target with me answering my many questions about whether or not this bath mat matched my bathroom, which candles would go better with my decor, and whether or not I should buy a copper-bottom saucepan. Three hours. Of being dragged around and rambled at concerning home decoration. Then he voluntarily went to see Brokeback Mountain with me because he knew I wanted to go and discussed it with me afterwards.

*falls over* [Big Grin]
