I doubt this will work for very long, but use google search and type:

"failure"

(without the quotes)

and hit the "i'm feeling lucky" button.

Now, the question of the moment is "How many times will this be posted at Hatrack?" Any results on that one?

the more accurate question is how many times has it been posted on hatrack

And for "How long will it last?" Oh, only a few years so far.

Stephen, is this really the first time you've heard of googlebombing?

Tom,

I have a vague recollection of the term, but I needed that I really enjoyed that particular search item.

I remember there was something relating to "weapons of mass destruction" a year or two ago that was also quite amusing. [Wink]

Oh the weapons of mass destruction one was a good one. It doesn't work any more though, sadly.

Jonathan K., your question does indeed have an answer. A quick search (even on the Hatrack search engine), reveals that this has been done at least five times already. .

Two of those times were as recently as September and October.

[Roll Eyes] So what people? It's funny, there's bound to be a few people that haven't heard of it. So it gets posted again! No big deal.
