I am doing a report on some of OSC's books, but am only allowed to use books first published before 2000. Could anybody tell me when his books first came out? (only needs to be aproximate)

I want to be lazy, so I'm not going to find them out for you... but I can point you in the right direction.

http://www.hatrack.com/osc/index.shtml

Go through there and go in all the books, at the bottom there's a copyright date. That should get you them.

Enchantment was 1999, as was Ender's Shadow. I think those are the last ones before 2000...But I'm not totally sure.

The only thing he's published since 2000 are numbers 2-4 of the Shadow Quartet and Magic Street. I think.

I guess people who praise a great man at the time of his death, honoring his contributions, are fanatically devoted. Perhaps you took the wrong lessons from "Speaker for the Dead" ...

Scott, I think he was quoting Monty Python, not referring to your article.
