After eating way too much at a holiday lunch at work, I checked out the Dr. Demento website and found a great surprise!

This section has an archived audio of one of the two 2001 Demento Christmas shows.

Unfortunately, this particular show is missing some of my personal favorites - like I Found the Brains of Santa Claus, You Ain't Getting Diddly Squat, or Father Christmas , but it has a bunch of other pretty great stuff and has made the slowly unwinding afternoon here a lot more fun. [Smile]

I miss Demento - his show plays in the Chicago area, but it's something like 1 am Monday morning. I'd stay up and listen, but there is a very unreasonable expectation that I be functional at work. [Grumble]

I will always be grateful to Dr. Demento for helping Al Yankovic get his start. That deserves a Nobel Peace Prize...or something!!
