Isn't this essentially the same theory for extinction in the series "Neanderthal" that played on (I think) the Discovery channel?

BTW, Noemon, when are you gonna get around to putting stuff on the "space news" thread you started? I'm doing what I can, but...

Chaos theory: It had something to do with some butterfly in Northern Africa that fluttered its wings for a few seconds, setting off a chain of events that resulted in the extinction of Neanderthals. Some even say it is responsible for the modern-day emergence of Reality Shows.
