been wondering for some time now, the best way to start a thread (one that might be some fun, that I can some back to without searching).

so, I was thinking along the lines of a cognitive/cleverness game. do I need a cool title?

If you chuck a racial slur in the title, I'm sure you'll get a lot of hits.

Um, I don't know how to make your topic popular, but avoid vague titles like "best way". I thought this was going to be a super-fluff thread. ("best way to skin a cat...is with a butter knife"; "best way to milk a goat...is without suction cups"; etc.) Now I'm disappointed.

Perhaps you should capitalize more?

Seriously, though, it helps if you post under a title that actually explains what you're talking about -- and post about a topic people are interested in discussing.

That's really all there is to it.

I don't know if other people got the same "Customers who bought this book also bought..." as I did.

Suffice to say I'm shocked. Dog, this is a family forum!

This speaks somewhat to the OCD elements of some people's depressions.

I mean, 100 times? You have to be really motivated. That's some serious dedication, there, just to keep up with the count.
