Has anyone besides me read this book? It was written by Mary Poppins (the actress Julie Andrews-Edwards). I was reminiscing about it. I think I need to go find it at the library or buy it for myself. I loved it and re read it oodles of times as a kid.

Um, it is a childrens fantasy, kind of along the lines of Half Magic, though with a mostly different premise. It is substantial enough I suspect an adult would enjoy it still though I haven't read it since about 14 I think. It is an excellent book for encouraging kids to use their imaginations.
That's the one with the proffesor and the little protal to what is basically candy-land, right? If so I recall really liking it, but I also haven't read it in long periods of time...
