This song contains the absolute raunchiest distortion I could create. I took a basic metal-style distortion and applied a liberal dose of full-volume chorus (i.e., I cranked it). The result was, well, guitar syrup.

(For those who dislike syrup, I'll just mention that the syrup is not really the centrepiece of the song; there's a lot of other stuff in it as well. It's seven minutes of wholesome goodness and other than some relatively minor timing issues in a couple of spots I'm really happy with it.)
