Sorry if this has already been posted, but imagine my surprise as I'm reading my regular webcomics and see this OotS Guest Strip! Congratulations, that is so awesome!
What makes this even more cool is that I have recently read the entire OotS archives just last week, and it had become one of my favorite web comics.
Usually I hate guest strips, but this one was quite good! It worked within the Order of the Stick flavor of humor as well. That's the mistake most guest strip people make, by having their own humor style and ignoring the feel of the strip. This felt a lot like OotS to me .

Reading the Order of the Stick archives has really made me want to play D&D. I never have before, at least not really. I have played D&D based games, like Baldur's Gate I and II, as well as Planescape:Torment. I think at least Knights of the Old Republic used the D&D rules as its back end...
So I know what THAC0 is, and some other basic rules.
But I've never really rolled a character, and never played the game with a DM.
So whenever there is a new hatracker run D&D game, make sure to let me know. I would love to test the waters a bit .

Congratulations! Since you know what a THAC0 is you can now promptly forget it.
Despite my talk at the time of making tshirts which said "You can take my THAC0 when you pry it from my cold, dead charactersheet!" The 3rd Ed combat system is much better and simpler. None of that "But a low AC is better, so shouldn't a -2 shield be good?" backwardsness.

Xav, I'm still planning on having Enig come down and run a one-weekend game for Bob sometime (since he's never played.) Ya wanna join us?

Oh, man, that would be so much fun. Not like it would get me to visit Kansas any time soon, but still....

Wish I could get to Sakeriver to copy and paste my post on this subject from over there. As it is I'll just have to say that I can't believe how freaking cool this is. Congratulations Abby!

Hahah. I didn't think anyone would figure it out. I usually tell people when I do guest comics, but this time I didn't to see if anyone would just randomly congratulate me. I was a little disappointed when I noticed it was up and no one had.
Hahaha. I just hadn't seen it yet.
Thanks for all the congratulations, yay! My comic is doing pretty well.. I am happy.

Alas, poor Saskia! I knew her, Ryuko: a fighter of infinite endurance, of most excellent animal affinity: she hath tracked the trackless track thousand times; and now, how abhorred in my imagination it is! my gorge rims at it. Here swung those blades that have slain her foes I know not how oft. Where be your mounted combat abilities now? your ride-by attacks? your red-brown eyes? your flashes of conflicted past, that were wont to set the table to tears? Not one now, to avenge your own grinning? quite chap-fallen?
