Too cool! I really liked Fat Farm. I wonder who is doing the illustrations?

I wonder if my parents will buy me the magazine so I can read it? They keep not answering me when I ask.

It is certainly worth the price. Not only do you get the issue you buy, but that issue keeps getting updated at no extra charge. And when the next issue comes out, you don't have to find a recycling bin for the old issue.

IGMS: good for you, good for the environment [Smile]

That is basically what I've been telling my parents. But they won't fall for my sales pitch.

<pats Steve on the back>

I would adopt you, but your parents would probably object to that too. [Smile]

I have to admit I fear the failure of this much more than the failure of the Ender movie.

I'm going to be really upset if it doesn't live up to the story.

<----regularly weeps over Fat Farm

Steve, I've got to admit that I do the same to my kid. But not because I don't love him (I love him lots!) or because I don't care (I care lots!), but because he always seems to ask when I'm occupied with something else.

Make it easy for them to do this. Log on to the website. Have YOUR OWN money at hand. Wait until they are not otherwise involved with something else and ask if they can help you subscribe (because you need their credit card), but that you are willing to pay with your allowance (or however you get your ready cash). If you are in luck, they'll wave off your dollars and treat you. Otherwise, they will respect you for paying for it.

Hey! We're parents, not saints. We are not perfect, but not necessarily malicious either. And we are old, so we are tired, and forgetful. Have some mercy on us!
