I used to Hatrack about two years ago and after going to Lyrcon last night (and being one of like 7 people) I decided I should join up again. Just saying hello to all.

I've been wondering that myself. I don't think I've ever in my life eaten a chili cheese fry.
I like chili. I like cheese. I like fries. I just don't understand why combining the three is such a good idea.
Now, soft vanilla ice cream, sliced half-sour pickles, and hot, crisp french fries, now THERE'S an awesome combination. Especially if you lightly dust the top with ground chipotle pepper. Oh! OH!

It'd be nice if I could remember more of the people from here but time has faded my memory I guess.

I always make my Mac and Cheese with salsa. The salsa replaces the butter and milk in the mix.

Fae, very few people in this thread were here when you were. I wasn't really either (I think you posted a few posts after I came), but I'm Sarah from south (I'm not using my first on here).

It's fun to say Chili Cheese Fries.

Oh, I usually land up tossing in the whole jarful. Sometimes half a jar, and then some milk to get the right consistency.

I don't imagine such a concoction would be conducive to keeping kosher, huh?
[edit to add: I guess it could. When I hear "chili" I think meat. I guess you could use meatless chili. ]

Yeah, usually when I make chili (and I do make it often) it is meatless. That way, we can have it with cheese and sour cream. I do like to make a meaty chili, but my family doesn't like it so much because then they can't do the sour cream/cheese thing that they like so much. Unless they use that simulated sour cream and cheese made from soy. But, believe me, that stuff is nasty. A better solution is to use the meat substitute made from soy. But my favorite thing to put in my chili is posole.
Fries don't fit into the equation.

I just remembered the raia prom thread, and searched for it.
So who else came to lyrCon? Feel free to use first names if they aren't here, chances are I still know them.

Hehe aww. I felt bad for not going, but Kate had asked me to go to the Queen Contest, and I needed to be home by 1, so it wasn't worth it.

Yeah, lots from your class. I only knew the queen, 3rd Runner up, and swimwear out of the people who placed. The other runners up were very random.
