the interactions betweeen McKay and Shepard were encredibly hilarious and whats funnier is that I have those conversations easily all the time with my friend daniel, infact our playing styles and mannerism are similar.

You know, it might make the conversation flow better if the rest of us knew which episode you're talking about.

Episode 16 or should I say 15? of Stargate Atlantis, the one with McKay and Shepard playing the Atlantis version of Civilization X.

It's 15. What was to be 14 got skipped (why? who knows), which made Tao of Rodney (which I loved) 14.

As for 15, ask me tomorrow. And thanks for the reminder.

Ah. I haven't seen that one, yet.

Tao of Rodney was quite amusing. [Smile]

Wasn't it? [Big Grin] No M&MM, but a really great Rodney ep. And he like

****SPOILERS****

actually apologized! Sincerely! To multiple people!

Not that I expect that to have any permanent character effect or anything. [Wink]

Stargate is back on? I thought it wasn't back until March!

Is it just Atlantis, or SG-1 as well?

Edit to add:

Filming starts in April I believe for the first of the two SG-1 finale movies (second one starts filming on June 1st). Also, SPOILER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

.

.

.

Carson Beckett is leaving the show, and will be replaced by Jewel Staite, playing a doctor. She was Kaylee on Firefly, which makes the third character after Adam Baldwin and Morena Baccarin to be on both shows.

SPOILER ENDS

A third Stargate show is currently in development, probably slated for 2008.

Just SGA, and it's currently (I believe) only showing new episodes in Canada.

And The Game was a lot of fun.

Aw. I like that character!

Me too, but I REALLY like Jewel Staite too, so I might be able to live with this.

Oh, I also forgot to mention that Amanda Tapping (Colonel Carter) will be guest starring on an unannounced number of Atantis episodes. She's contractually obligated to the franchise for another year, so she'll be there whether we ike it or not (and I really have no problem with it. I'd guess a half dozen.

No work on whether or not Michael Shanks will follow suit. He's being kept busy by a number of made for tv movies (mostly for Sci Fi channel and Lifetime Network). But he personally hasn't ruled out guest starring on a number of Atlantis episodes.

Personally, I want Daniel to go to Atlantis when the Ori mess is over. It's the ultimate goal for his character I think. He's spent his life working on the Ancients, and he's only been there once, because of the Ori. It just makes sense to have him go there. I don't want him made a member of Major Shepard's (Is he a Colonel now?) team, I want him as more of a Zalenka, someone we know is there but only hear from, from time to time.

I knew both of those things. Amanda's continued involvement makes me very happy, and Michael's would make me even happier.

Totally agree.

Yup.

Well, Zalenka is getting more and more air-time, which delights me to no end (I think he's probably my favorite SGA character at the moment), but I agree that Daniel would make more sense as on-Atlantis staff than as a mission-team member. (Honestly, this is true on SG-1 as well, despite the fact that he has become a quite decent soldier over the years.)

I think that's one of the most jarring transformations if you watch Season One then skip to Season Nine, is seeing Jackson go from bumbly professor to hardcore nerdy soldier boy. The fact that he hit the gym pretty heavy around season four or five didn't hurt at all either.

My favorite SGA character was between Rodney and the guy who died on the Lagrange satellite at the end of the first season, the British guy. I'm not sure if Rodney is currently my favorite or not, but it's hard not to be entertained by him. Now I think it's either Rodney or Zalenka. The interaction between the two of them is delightful as well.

Just an FYI, the second half of SG1 season 10 has started airing in England. I really don't get why they're doing it this way.

BTW, Jewel Staite has already been on one episode of Atlantis.

The second half of Season 3 of Atlantis has already started in Canada, which is totally unfair [Frown] .

Yeah I didn't realize that before, but she's playing a new character.

Cool, but I'd much rather she be on another episode of Firefly [Smile]
