'Cause we're going there! The 6th and 7th of Sept., looks like. Jeff has a conference. We'd be happy to meet folks for dinner or I could meet during the day as long as it's near our hotel (we don't know where we're staying yet.)

P.S.-- my family confers Instant Realness upon all Jatraqueros not previously Real that we meet, if that's motivation for anyone.

I'm just one stop light north of Vegas. Of Course that is still a 6 hour drive. It's a quick 6 hours as there are no stop lights! I might well have driven down to meet you. I have been known to drive three hours to attend a student production of a musical. But, I'm going to be in Philly that weekend, and have to leave late Wedensday night to get there by Friday. Sorry, maybe next time.

If you're driving through Utah to get to Las Vegas, I'd be happy to catch a bite to eat with you erosomniac.

Huh, although it looks like if you're driving on interstates, it might be. Weird.
Although since he said he's going to be there three days, I bet he's flying. A 17 hour drive each way probably wouldn't be worth it.

I considered driving, but ElJay has the right of it: 17 hours of driving each way for 3 days of actually being there = not gonna happen.

Meh what can you do? It's probably cheaper to fly anyway then to drive that long TBH.
edit: Or at worst its just a few bucks more to fly, but far less time.
