My situation with my legal guardian, my grandmother, is... not good. We fight, but it's not in the like... immature "oh my god I hate my parents, they don't understand me" way. It's a lot more personal-hitting than I'd like to get into online. That's not really the point of all of this, though. We talked, a few of the words escalating into shouts, but basically, I told her I wanted to move out. I have a friend who's family has offered to let me live with them. She has given me her permission. I've got it in writing. Thing is, I'm 17. I've searched, and I can't find anything pertaining to minors living on their own outside of downright emancipation. But I do have her permission. Can I, from a legal point, move out, without possible repercussions?
And because I have it in writing, she can't report me as a runaway just to prove a point can she?
