Some of you may remember Jake as the primary author of the Authorized Ender's Companion, and the author of the comic adaptations of a number of OSC's novels.
He's also just a flat out nice guy. He's been way more patient with me and all my questions at the events I've met him than I probably should have asked him to be, and I'd love to see him move a little bit further past this trial.
He has beaten cancer, but is still swimming in the debt from all the medical bills.
Even if you can't help, any reposting or sharing of the link you can do with those who might be able to would help.
Thanks, Hatrack. You're a great bunch of people.

Between now and May 4th, Giveforward will donate an extra $750 to the fundraiser that raises the most. Contributing for the next while will help them maybe get that extra.
Also, there have begun to be prizes. Right now, there's a copy of the Supergirl comic Black co-wrote with actress Helen Slater that's up for grabs. If you have any friends or visit any forums that might be interested, please share the link with them.
And whatever you can do, no matter the amount, is a huge help.
You may now return to your regularly scheduled being awesome.

Bumping again. It is Father's Day now. Please give some thought to helping a father who beat cancer get his life back in order.
Also, Eric James Stone has some prizes he's donated. Right now, $25 gets you a signed copy of his anthology Rejiggering the Thingamajig. The title story is great (about a buddist dinosaur on a jungle planet who has to fix the universe's teleportation network) and the anthology also includes his nebula-award winning story That Leviathan, Whom Thou Has Made.

One week left, and then I'll stop bumping this because the drive will be over.
With only a week to go, they're less than halfway to their goal. It would be great if you could consider doing anything, even just $10 or $15, or even just posting it in places where you think people who might be able to help might see.
Thanks for anything anyone is able to do.
