To kick off a new kind of Hatrack, one where I will hardly be on again, I am making today the official "Flip someone off" day. I originally had it to be August 8th. However, I am changing the official day to today. Today, is the official "Flip someone off" day, complete with parades and popup cards, where the mail will not come, people get work off, and teachers don't come in for school. Since today is Sunday, not much of a change. However, next year will be different.
So, today is the official --|-- day. Enjoy!

I'm not 100% percent sure, but I'm fairly sure the peace sign is still the peace sign in Britain; it is the flip side of the peace sign that is offensive. (As in, palm facing the person who is gesturing, as opposed to facing away as is the peace sign.)
I cannot bring my self to use the symbol that everyone else is using, so I suppose I'd better leave now, hmmm? My happy attitude is putting a damper on the festivities.
