's a pretty quick question. Do you like it when a man/woman you're interested in plays "hard to get"? And what does that _mean_, anyway?

I don't think it's a matter of whether the other person likes it. People often play games with the opposite sex so they get more attention and presents and stuff. At least, that's my experience.

I don't mind a little coy flirtation, but when you start messing with my head, that's the end. If a person really likes me, she shouldn't pretend she doesn't in order to get my attention. That kind of behavior is not only self-contradicting, it's annoying.

Yeah, what narrativium said. I don't think most guys can tell the difference between "I'm playing hard to get" and "I'm trying to get you to stop asking me out."

I dunno. I've had some guys play hard to get with me, and I had about the same reaction...but my friends say that it's just what you're "supposed" to do. Strange.

pH, I have a feeling some of the guys you roll with aren't playing hard to get. They're just incredibly socially inept and treat you, undeservedly, like crap.

I'm not a fan of a girl playing hard to get. I usually just assume it means she doesn't really like me. I'm overly cautious about making a girl uncomfortable I think. I rarely "hit on" a girl unless I know she's attracted to me.
I also am way too sincere to play hard to get on my end. The appeal of playing head games never made any sense to me.
