If she doesn't want to see you for hours at a time, I'd say yes.
If you're married, I think you have better things to do then spend hours playing a game with ultimately no real value beyond being able to say it was an interesting diversion.
Not to mention that's a lot of money for a mindless diversion.

Unicorrrrrn... Your man-friend over there risked his life to save mine, throwing himself out in front of a giant whale of a bus to toss me aside. He jumped out of the way and the bus swerved to an untimely explosion that didn't harm either of us. The least you could do is get him an X-box..
Though if he's on it too often.. I know this nifty little trick you can do with a hammer and make it his Ex-box.

It's worth it.. especially with Halo and Halo2 and Jedi Knights.. there's alot of good games for the system.. I have a Game Cube and a PS2.. but I still regreat not having an X-box.. not that the other systems don't have their good points too.. *shrugs* - depends what you're desire is..
Game Cube is definately more kid-ish.. but it has great games like Mario Party and the Zelda series..
PS2 can play PS1 games and spreads over a large variety of action adventure, race, RPG's and scary stuff..
x-box though.. has immense quality and guaranteed happiness.. - I've played more X-box with my friends than I have with either of my systems put together.. *shrugs*- just my view of things..
