I kinda like Britney Spears' Toxic. The single.
...I mean, okay, it's hard not to like a song that's based around one of the most commonly used chord progressions in pop/rock... but I kind of, um, enjoy the singing.

Man, twinky, you used to be cool. I bet this has something to do with New Zealand, doesn't it? Those V-drinking, horse-riding punks down there drag everybody down, don't they?

I... I like that song, too. >_> I play it sometimes when I'm in my car alone. Don't tell anyone.

I don't really like Britney Spears. But that IS a good song. The way it is put together with all the different instruments, electronica, and voices is near perfection.
I have a friend who does a fabulous rendition of the song with his band. I'd never listen to it ordinarily, but live with real singing (gasp!) it's actually not bad!!!

Hey, I'm sure if I had a few dozen producers and technicians working with me I'd make some pretty cool music too. As it is, I'll just have to go by my own talents for now.

I dislike Britney Spears intensely and would never listen to her and definately not watch her videos (I never watch music videos anyway so not much chance of that) but my friend's band is quite outstanding so ANYTHING they do sounds amazing.

*has to agree with Rivka*
I find myself singing along with the radio and then stopping when I realize that I'm singing something by someone I hate to listen to. As an example - anything by John Mayer. He's a great singer and all, but I think he got overexposed. Then, for some reason I took a violent dislike to "Wonderland" and from there it was all downhill. I can't listen to anything by him.
Britney, on the other hand, I dislike because of the bad example she sets for her fans by the way she dresses.

That song wasn't nearly as hidious as I'd imagined it would be. It didn't really do a whole lot for me, and I stopped listening to it/watching it before it was done, but I can see how a thinking human being could like it.

Seriously, as Britney Spears songs go, this was one of the less objectionable to me. But then, to me, that's like comparing the relative pain levels of different dental procedures. I mean no offense to anyone who may actually like Britney; Lord knows I'm no music snob, and people are entitled to like whatever they want. But so far, nothing Britney's ever done has entertained me in the slightest. She remains as craptacular as ever. I'll take Utada Hikaru's "Addicted to You" over this particular song any day. Catchier tune, and a video that you don't have to turn off if a child so much as enters the building.
