Jet pods.

$100 for a four-minute trip seems rather steep but I think as a military or deserted area vehicle it might be quite effective. Also, although they say it is 20 decibels quiter I think living under a "road" would be hellish.

Any thoughts? It all sounds rather Back To The Future-ish.

I saw that article--sounds cool but way too expensive. I don't know if this is the answer to the world's problems.

Still...it is very cool...and at least we wouldn't have to feel ashamed about not living up to past-Hollywood's ideas of the twenty-first century.

Right, like I'd really want jets blasting noise 800feet overhead.
