We won't be doing a big redesign this year, but I will be working behind the scenes to convert our archaic, table-heavy HTML pages to be much more CSS friendly. Anyone know any good sources of info -- websites, books, etc -- for converting existing sites to CSS? I'm a CSS neophyte so I get to learn as I go...

I know of alistapart.org. Any other suggestions?

Take my advice: it's worth it, but it sucks. Stupid browsers that can't implement the specification the same way.

Fugu gave some great resources in this thread.

as for sites, http://w3schools.com both has a good tutorial (I suggest going through it first) and a good reference.

The main reference itself is always good: http://www.w3.org/Style/CSS/

Looking at the HTML source to http://csszengarden , then perusing some of the CSS files might be a good idea. Feel free to download and play around with them, they encourage it.
