You could have at least tried to make the thread about urinals. Like linking to a urinal webpage, for example.

Steve, usually a dobie will include a link to a topic that matches your dobie title. You are fired up and that's a good thing. I'd say you're quite the pisstol.

I agree, give him a few warm up tries and I'll bet he becomes quite the whizz.

Also, I don't believe it's traditional to tell everyone what thread it's a dobie of. If they can't figure it out the instant they see the title, then it's not much of a dobie. At least, that's been my observation. You know. Not to be pissy or anything.

Mine has a nice blue cake laying in it that I frequently use as a target, all the while humming John Phillip Sousa marches obnoxiously loud.

And after that huge run-on sentence, I feel quite drained, yet relieved.

At one time we had a dobie ratings scale of 5 possible points. 1 for a good pun title, which I guess you have but I don't know if I would have got it if you hadn't explained it. A normal element in a dobie would be a link to a site that illustrates the pun. If the site is especially funny that is another point, and then there is bonus points for generally being funny. Good Cod, OSC is the only dobie I'd give 5 stars too, but lamentably I wasn't around in the heyday of authentic dobies.

I think one element is that the thread it dobied was a sorely disputed one (Good G-d, OSC). It took something heavy and made it funny. Also, the site was a play both on OSC and the pun of G-d/Cod.

Someone had a geek org chart one time. People who write fan fic about erotic furries was at the bottom. That's about all I remember.

P.S. Oh, here it is.

P.P.S. The significance of the 2 way arrows is interesting to note.

As eager as you were? Sorry, Spanky, you guys both are little spaniels.

And you absolutely, completely missed my point regarding the status issue, so trying to figure out your 'status' in Hatrack is inane and pointless. There is no chart. Stop trying to assess yourself based on an imaginary ladder.

And MY GOD why do I feel the need to babysit you? Stop, Ralphie. Right now, stop.

[Eek!] I thought that said "I think it's really cute that you're so flush with excrement."

But this thread is about urinals. So of course it doesn't say that.

I'll take this opportunity to say that if I can ever design and build a house from scratch, there will be at least one urinal in it.
