My Google Toolbar has failed me. Everytime I go to OGame.org I get at least one pop-up and it's driving me crazy!! [Mad] A few other sites are giving me pop-ups as well.

Are there any free pop-up blockers out there that any of you can recommend?

Well, the obvious answer is, "use Firefox." Still, even the Firefox popup blocker is getting less reliable. I think the people whose job it is to irritate us are getting much more savvy to the ways of the blockers, because more popups are getting through every day.

Still, Firefox is always a good solution to this and many other problems.

I have been having a hard time with firfox adblocker at ogame. It wants to block everything, and screws up the frames on teh left that you use to access the production points and shipyard of the planets.

I had to turn it off, to be honest.

I have been thinking about using IE there to see if it's popup blocker was any smarter. [Big Grin]

Actually Niki uses firefox (she uses my computer).

We have both that and the google toolbar, and some still get through. Mostly on Ogame (which she cares about way more than I do). Actually, last time one got through from there it was a "pop-under".
