I haven't figured out yet how to set it so you have to put in a password / user name in yet or how to set up additional such accounts.
the Me pic file is myself my glasses are a bit skewed from physical activity and a little to my left is my computer. Specs on request.
the Zhao Shu Qing file is a chinese girl I'm speaking to, she thinks I'm cute .
The rest is music, enjoy as you will.
(BTW I moved the arrogant worms folder deciding that that may not be legal to distribute but everything else can be gotten from anywhere else)

or do you just mean you ripped a lot of it from other websites so you figure it's up for grabs?

Stuff that is freely availiable from other websites yes, though I'm unsure about what you mean by ripped.
The music is mostly WWII propoganda music and from what I can tell is not copyrighted (else you'ld see "A Bridge too far" in there as well.

I don't understand...
Either way don't bother A thats my Lan IP and B my friend said he couldn'd get in. So until I figure it out don't try it.

Any IP within the 192.168 range is an internal IP; the outside world isn't going to see it.
If your computer is reporting that IP, you're almost certainly hooked up to a router that's also providing DHCP. That router, in turn, is probably being assigned an external IP from your ISP. If you're lucky, this is a static IP, which does not change; most ISPs, however, charge extra for static IPs, so it's more likely that you have a dynamic IP (which will change now and then, rendering any link you might provide here obsolete after a while.)
What you need to do:
1) Set up your home router to pass FTP requests to and from the machine it sees at 192.168.1.2. This is the tricky part, and requires that your router have some sort of management screen; luckily, most do nowadays. (This will enable people to send a FTP request to your router, which will hand off that request to your machine, which will reply to the router, which in turn will send the reply back to the originating IP.)
2) Find out the external IP address currently being assigned to your router. (This should also be visible on whatever management screen is provided by your router.)
I'd laugh harder if I'd actually tried to go to the site though. It'd be a funny gag to play on the uninitiated -- here go to this site: and it takes them to their own router. LOL
Here, our IP is reset at least once a day. Back in Canada, if I didn't reset my router, I had the same IP for 90 days before they reset it.

ok... for the past little while my umm internet is kinda screwy, seems like any site I go to, it wont let me go to except Hatrack *shakes first*. So until it randomly decides to let me work again I'm stuck moping. And for a few minutes appears like Hatrack also didn't want to work either

Ah. *grin* Almost all routers bought from the store will be 192.168.x.1 by default. That third number is USUALLY 0, but precisely because 0 and 1 are used so often, it's considered best practices to use something else. Clearly, your router brand has decided to use 2 based on this thought process: "0 and 1 are common, and therefore commonly hacked. 2 is the next number."

But wouldn't he be hitting his router using its IP? He shouldn't need to do name resolution at that point.

sometime's hatrack doesnt work either, just works the most. 90% of the time in the recent 1 and a half days of screw ups and yes I've found a virtual server option finally. Bat ya 11:30 PM, i'll come back tomorrow.

To get your external IP go to www.whatismyip.com. On an Airport Base Station it is called Port Forwarding...

I type any any url in the last 2 days and most of the time for a undefined period of time it doesn't work. Hatrack just happens to work the most.

No point in using Japanese, if you can't use it properly. I suggest unless you have ample bandwidth that this attempt is stopped. I doubt you do since this is at home.
Um. No. Those are not the numbers you're looking for.
Unless that's your upload limit rather than your upload bandwidth, in which case a FTP server is probably a bad idea unless you're not running anything else.

If you are in the United States, I might have believed you if you said you had fiber running to your house, and you said 100mbit.
If you are outside of the US those numbers are still laughable. At this point in time speeds above 10mbit are still hard to come by, unless you are in Japan, Korea, or China.

You say 550kbits/s = 68.75KBytes/s (14.89 seconds/MByte)
If you open it up publicly to allow many to connect and download you will see two things happen.
1. Your browsing will slow to a crawl because anything you are downloading still has to send back information that you got it. 2. You will also notice that once more than one person starts downloading anything that takes more than a few seconds, it will take even longer, prolonging the effects.
These are my main reasons for suggesting against doing it. I've got plenty of bandwidth (on my server at work) and I don't do something like this simply because it's rather impractical unless you have a specific reason or goal that will only be obtained through doing it this way.
