I was quite alarmed by this article. I mean, we've seen problems with maintenance done by regular, experienced airplane mechanics recently. It's quite scary to think of apparently insufficiently trained, sometimes incompetent mechanics being in charge of something so crucial to the well-being of crews and passengers...
