This amazes me.

I walked into my kitchen to grab a snack. While I was in the hallway, I smelt something burning. I looked on the stove, and my sister has a pot of boiling water on it. Somehow she managed to burn something, while boiling water. How she did it, I'll never know.

I guess it depends on your stove setup. My roommate often burns something while boiling water. It's usually a food crumb or something that was either on the stove top or down underneath the burner.

Hmm, possibly.

I might want to point out, she makes Mac & Cheese taste funny.

Odd. Mac and Cheese is pretty straight forward.

I know.

Apparently, she was making some noodles that are green and funky looking.

She could be burning the pot itself. Is it non-stick? If so, it's now giving off toxic fumes. >_< It could also be something that got on the burner if it's an electric stove.

My brother always messes up mac and cheese. It comes in a box... with clear instructions... and only two additional ingredients....

Some how it always gets messed up.

One time I had a friend over. She wanted to make some Mac and Cheese, so I put some water out to boil. We went online and we forgot about it. (We were watching vids on Google [Big Grin] ) About an hour or two later, we remembered the pot. She went into the kitchen, and the bottom was burnt, and the inside had streaks in it. I cleaned it out as best I could and so far my mother hasn't noticed. [Smile]
