Just saw a very good and on point quote that I wanted to share. I also thought it would be a good thread to start. Simply the quote, by whom (has to be a president), and why you chose to share! Simple enough. Not meant to start another huge political debate, there are plenty of those threads around!
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but it is morally treasonable to the American public.” - President Theodore Roosevelt
I dedicate that one to all those Republicans who try to make me and others feel "unpatriotic" because we don't agree with the President. You know who you are.
Plenty of material for this topic, so have fun!

"We need not fear the expression of ideas—we do need to fear their suppression." Harry S. Truman
"A president's hardest task is not to do what is right, but to know what is right." Lyndon Baines Johnson.
I have no doubt our President strives to always do what is right. I have no doubt that his is often wrong in knowing what is right. That is what scares me at night.
