"If She Wants Me" by Belle and Sebastian.

The whole Dear Catastrophe Waitress album is awesome, but this song in particular.

"I Love Rock N Roll" by Hayseed Dixie from their album "A Hillbilly Tribute To Mountain Love"

Good stuff. They also have a tribute album to AC/DC and another that features a lot of eighties metal covers.

Listening to: Wash Away those Years - Creed

Is it just me or does that song remind you of Petra when she was being held captive by Achilles?

I'm listening to a song called Blackheart, by a relatively unknown Canadian band called Cuff the Duke. They opened for Canada's best folk-rock artist (Hayden) in Edmonton on Saturday, and I was lucky enough to be at the show.

Mambo De Chocobo from the Final Fantasy V/VI soundtrack that came in the case when they republised both games together on the Playstation as FF: Anthology. You can watch a shockwave based parody of the song with lyrics here: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view.php?id=58184
My version has nicer instruments and no lyrics.

"Picture Puzzle" by Kate Wolf-- the studio version on Lines on the Paper, not the live version. (I actually like the studio version better on this one, although I usually love live versions. What can I say, I'm a sucker for a good banjo solo.)

"Ozone Baby" by Led Zeppelin. I've been listening to "Over the Rainbow/Wonderful World" by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole a lot lately. A song that was listened to by my favorite author while he wrote my favorite book. I can see how it inspired him so.
