Never mind, did a search myself. And I retract my recommendation. I have no desire to support someone who steals entire passages from the work of other writers.

I don't know (or care enough to find out) the whole story, but the few examples I've seen of her "plagiarism" didn't seem, to me, to rise to the level of plagiarism.

Just google it. I was introduced to her through her "Harry Potter" fanfic known as the "Draco Trilogy." It was one of the first HP fanfics I read and I liked it until I realized that all the dialogue I was laughing at was lifted word-for-word from the show Buffy.
From what I can gather, the spelling of the name is somehow related to her days on fanfiction.net when she was booted for plagiarism.
EDIT: Posted too slowly. I don't know how I feel about the claims of plagiarism, but at the very least the good parts of her writing are borrowed from other fandoms. She's unoriginal and while she's probably not an evil plagiarist, she is alittle sad.

I think it's a stretch to call her a plagiarist. I think she's a fanfic writer who extends her fandom to the fanfic community.
I've got to admit that I find the byzantine intrigues of fandom to be both bemusing and laughable. It's like those people on Hatrack who really deeply care about what it means to be "real," or whether a Dobie needs a link or not.

Her stories have plenty of merit on their own, they just also happen to include a lot of awesome pop-culture lines and quotes, which she always credited in a huge footnote section at the end of every chapter, IIRC. I was never bothered by her constant quoting.

I never really got into the whole fanfiction thing, so this is the first I've ever heard of her, but from the fan history site, I'd have to agree with Tom on this one. Most of the examples they gave seemed to be nothing more than little phrases that were inserted for the fun of it. Yeah, they may have been a bit in bad taste, but if these are the most clear examples they could think of, I'm not particularly impressed. At the absolute most, I'd say that she might have done a better job of citing where these phrases came from, but I definitely wouldn't call it plagiarism.
